The Rays will add Fleming to their 28-man roster for their ALCS matchup with the Astros that begins Sunday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com

Manager Kevin Cash previously hinted that he wanted to carry 14 pitchers on the Rays' ALCS roster, so Fleming's addition doesn't come as much of a surprise. The rookie southpaw will likely work in low-leverage situations or long relief throughout the series.

Chapman allowed zero hits and had two strikeouts and one walk over 1.1 innings to earn the save in Thursday's Game 4 win over the Rays.

The veteran left-hander entered with a three-run lead during the eighth inning and the Yankees tacked on another run, so he came back for the ninth with a comfortable cushion. It was Chapman's first appearance of the series and second of the playoffs, and manager Aaron Boone figures to be aggressive in his bullpen usage during Friday's winner-take-all Game 5.

Montgomery gave up two runs on six hits and one walk over five innings during a loss to the Yankees on Thursday in Game 4 of the ALDS. He had one strikeout and didn't factor in the decision.

The left-hander was spared being charged with the loss as opener Ryan Thompson surrendered two runs over 1.2 innings. Yarbrough generated only three swinging strikes on 65 pitches, but he was able to hold New York in check aside from a two-run homer by Gleyber Torres. It will end up being the 28-year-old's only appearance of the postseason if the Rays are unable to win Friday's Game 5 and advance to the ALCS.

Richards will be on the Rays' roster for the remainder of the NL Division Series against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Richards replaces Oliver Drake, who landed on the injured list with a flexor strain. He'll presumably fill a lower-leverage role given that he wasn't originally on the roster and struggled to a 5.91 ERA in 32 innings during the regular season.

Hendriks was credited with the victory in the Athletics' ALDS Game 3 win over the Astros on Wednesday, allowing one hit and recording four strikeouts over three scoreless innings.

Hendriks earned the win and threw 26 of his 33 pitches for strikes. The 31-year-old recorded 14 saves during the regular season while posting an impressive 1.78 ERA and 0.67 WHIP. His impressive performance could not have come at a better time for an Oakland team that was trying to save off elimination.

Fairbanks closed out the ninth, allowing one run and one hit while striking out two in his effort to record the save in Tuesday's win over the Yankees in Game 2 of the ALDS.

Fairbanks threw 14 of his 25 pitches for strikes to close out the game and record his second save of the postseason. With two outs and runners at the corners, Fairbanks was able to force Aaron Judge to ground out to third base to end the game.

Garcia recorded one inning of work while allowing one hit and one run in Tuesday's loss to the Rays in Game 2 of the ALDS.

Garcia opened for the first inning and was pulled from the game by Yankees manager Aaron Boone. The 21-year-old was the youngest starter in Yankees postseason history as he threw 16 strikes of his 27 pitches. Due to the shortened start, it is plausible that Garcia makes another appearance in this series.

Manaea took the loss in Game 2 of the ALDS against the Astros after allowing four runs on five hits with two strikeouts and one walk over 4.1 innings.

The left-hander allowed three runs over the third and fourth innings and exited after surrendering a solo homer to Martin Maldonado during the fifth. Manaea will need to hope the A's can overcome a 2-0 series deficit to have a chance to pitch again during this series.

Garcia will start Game 2 of the ALDS against the Rays on Tuesday, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

Veteran Masahiro Tanaka was expected to be in line for the second start, but he'll move back to Game 3, with the rookie Garcia jumping in front of him. The 21-year-old is undoubtedly talented, though he didn't dominate in his six-start debut this season, posting a 4.98 ERA. His 33:6 K:BB in 34.1 innings was quite solid, however.

King will be on the Yankees' roster for the ALDS against the Rays.

The Yankees add an extra arm for the series, dropping third-string catcher Erik Kratz to make room for King. The 25-year-old made four starts and five relief appearances this season, struggling to a 7.76 ERA in 26.2 innings. He'll presumably be limited to low-leverage duty in this series.
