Quijada was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 25-year-old was a late arrival to spring training due to visa issues and will join the Angels on Tuesday with Mike Trout (calf) landing on the injured list. Quijada appeared in six games for Los Angeles last season but saw more extensive work in 2019, when he posted a 5.76 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 44:26 K:BB over 29.2 innings.

Mejia was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old was unable to secure a spot on the Opening Day roster but will join Cleveland six weeks into the season with the chance to make his major-league debut. Mejia started two games at Triple-A this season, allowing two runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts and five walks over nine innings.

The Twins designated Law for assignment Tuesday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

The move comes a day after a miserable relief outing Monday in which Law allowed four runs on five hits in 1.1 innings. The righty posted an 8.53 ERA in five appearances after being called up May 8.

Baumann (elbow) is scheduled to make his second rehab start for Low-A Delmarva on Thursday, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

Baumann made his first start of 2021 on Saturday, working two scoreless innings for Delmarva. He'll likely increase his innings and pitch count Thursday before moving up to a higher level of competition thereafter. Once he's formally reinstated from the 7-day injured list, Baumann is expected to slot into the Triple-A Norfolk rotation.

Wittgren struck out two in a perfect inning during Monday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.

Wittgren started the season poorly, but he's been better in May, posting a 1.29 ERA, 0.14 WHIP and nine strikeouts in seven innings this month. The 29-year-old has been eclipsed by Emmanuel Clase and James Karinchak for closing duties, but Wittgren's recent success suggests he could still work his way back into a high-leverage role.

Pearson (shoulder) is listed as Triple-A Buffalo's scheduled starting pitcher for Friday's game against Worcester.

Pearson was scratched ahead of his most recent outing over the weekend due to right shoulder inflammation, but Buffalo didn't deem the injury serious enough to place him on the 7-day injured list. Assuming he experiences no setbacks while throwing in the next day or two, Pearson won't miss any further turns through the rotation. The Blue Jays will likely want to see Pearson find some sustained success at Triple-A before a promotion to the big-league rotation is revisited.

Hatch (elbow) is scheduled to make a rehab start Thursday for Triple-A Buffalo.

Buffalo plans to deploy Hatch in a tandem start with Jacob Waguespack, so expect the 26-year-old right-hander to cover around 3-to-4 innings before exiting the game. The outing marks Hatch's first of the season, as he's been on the mend from a right elbow impingement since late March. Hatch will likely need to complete at least two or three rehab starts at Buffalo before the Blue Jays consider bringing him back from the 60-day injured list.

Sandlin struck out four batters over two perfect innings in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.

Sandlin has been effective at limiting baserunners -- he's given up just two hits and two walks in 8.1 innings this season. Despite that, he had allowed three runs over his previous two appearances. The 24-year-old sidewinder owns a 3.24 ERA, 0.48 WHIP, 9:2 K:BB and one hold in six outings so far.

Stephan allowed two hits and a walk while striking out three over 2.1 scoreless innings in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.

Sam Hentges was torched for six runs in 1.2 innings before Stephan entered the contest and calmed things down. Five of his nine outings this season have lasted more than one inning. Stephan owns a 4.50 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB across 14 innings in a low-leverage role.

Iglesias struck out the side in a perfect ninth inning to earn a save against Cleveland on Monday.

Iglesias entered the game with a 7-4 lead and wasted no time finishing things off. It was his fifth straight scoreless outing and he's converted five consecutive save chances. He's converted seven of his nine save opportunities with a 4.80 ERA through 15 frames this season.
