Hentges (1-1) yielded six runs on five hits and three walks over 1.2 innings Monday, striking out one and taking the loss against the Angels.

Hentges allowed a run to score on a groundout by Anthony Rendon in the first inning but things got out of hand quickly in the second. Shortly after a two-run double by Juan Lagares, Hentges served up a three-run blast to Shohei Ohtani. His season ERA shot up to 6.46 over 15.1 frames. It was just the second start of his young MLB career and it's unclear if he'll get another turn in the rotation. Hentges is currently projected to face the Twins at home this weekend.

Fulmer allowed a hit and struck out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning Monday, earning a save over Seattle.

After a leadoff single by Mitch Haniger, Fulmer quickly retired the next three batters to finish off the 4-1 win. He's converted all three of his save chances this season and owns a 3.34 ERA through 29.2 innings.

Abreu was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Monday's game against Texas. He allowed two walks and struck out four in three innings prior to his demotion.

Abreu provided the Yankees with some long relief after starter Gerrit Cole surrendered five runs in five innings. Abreu has given up one run on four walks and struck out seven across five frames with the big club in 2021 and should have a good chance to surface again with the Yankees later on.

Diekman was charged with his second blown save in a win over the Twins on Sunday, allowing two earned runs on three hits and a wild pitch and recording one strikeout over one-third of an inning.

The veteran left-hander was uncharacteristically poor for the second time in as many days, getting his outing off on the wrong foot by allowing a double to Max Kepler and a subsequent two-run home run by Andrelton Simmons. Diekman has now allowed earned runs in back-to-back appearances for the first time all season and has seen his ERA quickly rise from 2.12 to 3.57 in the process.

Trivino (2-1) was credited with the victory in a win over the Twins on Sunday, firing 1.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed a hit and no walks.

Trivino continued his recent solid stretch of pitching with an efficient 17-pitch outing that saw him lower his ERA to 3.27. The right-hander has generated four consecutive scoreless appearances and should continue seeing a fantasy-friendly mix of hold and save chances, along with the occasional decision.

Tapia was designated for assignment Monday.

Tapia made a pair of appearances for the Mariners in early May, throwing two scoreless innings. He'll make way on the 40-man roster for the Mariners to select Brady Lail's contract.

Yang is expected to be the Rangers' primary pitcher Wednesday against the Yankees, though whether he starts or follows an opener remains to be seen, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

Yang didn't make much of a splash this winter, joining the Rangers on a minor-league deal following a down season in Korea and failing to win an Opening Day roster spot. He was called up in late April and has been competent when called upon, posting a 3.38 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 16 innings of work, though a .222 BABIP and 87.0 percent strand rate suggest he's gotten a bit lucky. His 4.88 FIP and 4.70 xFIP indicate he's probably a back-end starter at best, though that could be good enough for a regular role on a Rangers team that lacks established talent in the rotation.

Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said Sunday that Borucki (forearm) is expected to be on the injured list for the minimum 10 days or close to it, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Borucki was placed on the IL on Friday with a left forearm strain. According to Atkins, Borucki's injury is to the lower portion of his forearm, which the Blue Jays don't believe will affect his velocity or command when he eventually returns. Borucki had posted a 4.05 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB in 13.1 innings before landing on the IL.

Montero worked in the sixth inning of Sunday's win over Cleveland, recording his second hold despite allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and a walk during the first two-thirds of the frame. He also recorded a strikeout.

The right-hander was utilized much earlier into the game than usual and scuffled through a 31-pitch outing. The two runs charged to Montero crossed the plate on a groundout and an error, but that's not to say he wasn't complicit in setting those runners up in scoring position considering he allowed a walk and a double to the first two batters he faced. Montero yielded a second two-bagger before getting the hook, with the amount of hard contact a continuing concern after he'd also allowed three earned runs, including a home run, two appearances prior against the Dodgers.

Misiewicz recorded his eighth hold in a win over Cleveland on Sunday, allowing two hits and a walk over one inning.

Misiewicz continues to try to rediscover the stride he'd hit in April, when he wasn't scored upon across 9.1 innings over 11 appearances and recorded two wins and four holds. May hasn't anywhere near as kind -- he's taken two losses, blown two save chances and given up seven earned runs across three of his appearances -- but the southpaw has at least doubled up his holds tally and has now produced scoreless efforts in two of his last three trips to the mound.
