The Tigers recalled Lange from Triple-A Toledo on Thursday.

Derek Holland (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. With Detroit turning to Tyler Alexander to lead off a bullpen game in Thursday's series finale with the Mariners, Lange could get a chance to cover an inning or two in relief behind the lefty. Lange has previously made 15 appearances out of the Detroit bullpen this season, posting a 7.43 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB in 13.1 innings.

Bummer (0-4) allowed three runs on two hits, a walk and a wild pitch to pick up the loss against the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Bummer entered a clean eighth inning after Lance Lynn cruised through seven innings of one-run ball. After getting the first out, Bummer struck out Riley Adams on a pitch in a dirt that got by catcher Yasmani Grandal. That was followed by an infield hit, a single and a botched double play, and the White Sox were down 4-2. The right-hander has given up runs in six of his last nine outings, allowing 10 runs (nine earned) over 7.2 innings.

Mejia (1-1) allowed four earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out one across two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss to the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Mejia surrendered his first four runs of the year after posting eight scoreless innings prior this season. He was only able to record two outs in the first frame before being relieved after allowing five men to reach safely. The 24-year-old only has just 8.2 MLB innings under his belt, but he has been asked to start recently with injuries to the rotation. Following Wednesday's outing, he now sports a 4.15 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that Wilson (hamstring) is responding to treatment and "doing really well," MLB.com reports.

Wilson has been on the injured list since May 29, but he appears to be making progress from the right hamstring issue that Boone said had been nagging the reliever for "a few weeks." It's not yet clear when Wilson could return to the Yankees' bullpen.

Norris (0-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on three hits and two walks in one inning, taking the loss versus Seattle on Wednesday.

Norris was on the mound for all of Seattle's five-run rally in the top of the 11th, and Detroit wasn't able to cover the damage. It's been a difficult year for the southpaw, who has a 6.65 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB across 23 innings. He's added five holds and two blown saves, but his inconsistent pitching will likely keep him from earning more high-leverage work.

Chargois (1-0) allowed an unearned run and struck out two in one inning to earn the win in extra innings versus Detroit on Wednesday.

Chargois allowed Detroit to re-tie the game when he uncorked a wild pitch in the 10th inning. Seattle then rallied for five runs in the 11th, and Chargois ended up with his first win of the year. The right-hander has pitched well with a 1.80 ERA, 0.67 WHIP and 16:2 K:BB across 15 innings this season, adding five holds and a blown save in 15 appearances.

Manaea (5-2) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out three in six scoreless innings, earning the win in Wednesday's 4-0 victory over the Diamondbacks.

The lefty entered an enticing matchup (at home against the Diamondbacks) and didn't disappoint. Manaea labored a bit through the first couple innings, but he made it through six innings on 111 pitches and lowered his ERA to 3.09. He's been superb of late while allowing just two earned runs over 26.2 innings in his last four starts, and he's expected to next pitch Monday against the Angels.

The Royals recalled Hernandez to the big-league roster Wednesday.

The righty has struggled considerably in four relief appearances this season, having allowed multiple runs in three of his four appearances en route to a 8.22 ERA. In his only scoreless outing, Hernandez walked three batters without recording an out. Regardless, he's being called upon once again to provide some added bullpen depth.

Feyereisen recorded his first hold in a win over the Nationals on Tuesday, allowing no hits but issuing three walks over one-third of an inning.

Feyereisen had an extremely labor-intensive sub-one-inning outing, getting only 12 of 26 pitches into the strike zone while creating a heap of trouble that Ryan Thompson was able to subsequently wiggle out of. The 28-year-old is working on a five-appearance scoreless streak and sports an outstanding 1.04 ERA, but his 5.8 BB/9 across 28 innings remains an albatross.

Martin (1-2) allowed one hit and an unearned run across two innings, earning the victory in Wednesday's 4-3, extra-innings win over the Rangers.

The lefty was very efficient, requiring just 16 pitches (14 of which were strikes) to get through the 10th and 11th innings. Martin yielded four runs in an inning Sunday after recording 15 straight scoreless appearances, but he appears to be back on track after that one rough showing.
