Karinchak (3-2) earned the win in relief Saturday against the Mariners after tossing a scoreless inning, fanning two.

Karinchak entered the game in the 10th inning after Cleveland scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth, and he carried that momentum into the mound -- he tossed eight of his 13 pitches for strikes and retired the side in order despite having a runner at second the whole time due to the new extra-inning rule. The right-hander has posted three straight scoreless outings and lowered his ERA to 2.67 in the process.

Romano (forearm) struck out one in a perfect ninth inning during Saturday's win over the Red Sox.

Romano was deemed unavailable for Friday's game with forearm tightness, but the issue appears to have been minor. Although he didn't pick up a save Saturday, Romano figures to continue seeing plenty of opportunities in the closer role going forward. On the season, the right-hander has compiled a tidy 1.66 ERA and 1.06 WHIP to go along with a 28:12 K:BB across 21.2 innings.

Kowar (0-2) was tagged with the loss Saturday against the Athletics after allowing four runs on five hits and three walks across 1.1 innings. He struck out one.

It was another rough outing for Kowar and even though he was able to get out of the first inning this time, he didn't make a substantial improvement compared to his debut and once again delivered a below-average outing. It remains to be seen how patient the Royals will be with their star prospect. Right now, it's not entirely clear that he'll get another shot in the rotation any time soon.

Ramirez was recalled by the Mariners on Saturday.

Ramirez spent a brief period in the big leagues in late May, allowing three runs in four innings of relief across a pair of appearances. He'll likely fill a low-leverage role for now.

Trivino (3-2) recorded the victory in a win over the Royals on Friday, firing 1.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed two hits and recorded two strikeouts.

The right-hander was rewarded for his impressive 20-pitch effort with his third victory of the season when Elvis Andrus hit a game-winning single in the ninth inning. Following a forgettable five-earned-run outing over one-third of an inning against the Blue Jays on May 5, Trivino has rattled off 12.2 scoreless innings across 12 appearances, lowering his ERA to a career-low 2.40 and garnering two wins, four saves and a hold in the process.

Saucedo's contract was purchased from Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday, Mitch Bannon of SI.com reports.

A big 6-foot-5 southpaw, Saucedo had a 2.29 ERA and 21:2 K:BB in 16.1 innings over 10 appearances at Triple-A. Toronto's bullpen has been decimated by injuries, so if Saucedo can carry over that success against big-league hitters, he could work his way into the later innings.

Kittredge secured his fourth hold in a win over the Orioles on Friday, firing a perfect seventh inning during which he recorded a strikeout.

Kittredge fired seven of eight pitches for strikes in an ultra-efficient inning. The right-hander continues to be one of Kevin Cash's most reliable bullpen options, as he's now sporting a 1.48 ERA and 0.89 WHIP across 22 appearances while also having secured two saves in addition to his four holds.

Nelson was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Saturday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Cleveland needed to clear a spot for Saturday's starter Triston McKenzie. Nelson gave up five earned runs in one inning June 6 in Baltimore and has not entered a game since then.

Barlow (2-2) allowed a run on three hits and a walk and struck out one in 1.1 innings, taking the loss Friday versus Oakland.

The right-hander got through the eighth inning without trouble, but he was only able to get one out in the ninth before Elvis Andrus hit a walkoff single. Barlow hadn't allowed a run in his previous 12 innings across 11 outings before Friday's misstep. He's posted a 1.95 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 46:14 K:BB, two saves and nine holds across 32.1 innings. He'll likely continue to see high-leverage work out of the bullpen as one of Kansas City's most effective relievers.

Cisnero (0-4) took the loss in relief Saturday against the White Sox after giving up an unearned run and a walk across one inning.

Cisnero entered the game in the 10th inning with a 4-4 tie and a runner on second base, but his performance wasn't good by any means. He walked Tim Anderson and while he retired Yermin Mercedes on a flyout, Yoan Moncada drove the inherited runner at second, Danny Mendick, home with a sac fly. This was Cisnero's fourth loss of the campaign. It's worth noting he has given up at least one run in four of his last six appearances, though three of those have been unearned.
