Morgan (1-3) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks over five innings as Cleveland was downed 3-2 by the Astros. He struck out three.

The rookie right-hander didn't pitch poorly, throwing 52 of 86 pitches for strikes, but solo shots by Carlos Correa and Abraham Toro in the fourth inning -- as well as little run support -- did him in. Morgan will need to find a way to keep the ball in the park if he's going to hang onto a spot in the rotation when bigger names like Shane Bieber (shoulder) and Zach Plesac (thumb) get healthy, as his impressive 22:4 K:BB through his first 21.1 big-league innings is masked by an 8.44 ERA and ghastly 3.38 HR/9.

Pressly struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 14th save of the season in a 3-2 win over Cleveland.

The right-hander needed only 10 pitches (eight strikes) to breeze through the heart of Cleveland's order. Pressly has been absolutely filthy since the beginning of June, picking up two wins and converting all seven of his save chances while not allowing an earned run and racking up a 21:1 K:BB in 12 innings over that stretch.

Iglesias fired a perfect ninth inning while striking out two to earn the save in the win over the Orioles on Saturday.

Iglesias entered with a 4-1 lead and made quick work of the Orioles by retiring the side. He is nearly perfect over his last six games, with 15 strikeouts in eight scoreless innings. However, he allowed a run in four straight appearances before that. The 31-year-old has a 3.38 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP in 37.1 innings. In addition, he has a strong 14.0 K/9 and is 16-for-19 in save opportunities.

Lopez (2-11) allowed four earned runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out four across 4.2 innings, taking the loss to the Angels on Saturday.

Lopez lost his fifth game in a row Saturday after allowing at least four runs for the fourth time in his last five starts. He has struggled with his control, walking four batters in each of his last two starts. The 28-year-old has a rough 6.02 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP overall with 77 punchouts in 80.2 innings.

Zimmermann's (biceps) rehab has been pushed back another week or two, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

The Orioles announced in late June that Zimmermann would miss two or three more weeks, and his recovery will extend another week or two as a precautionary measure. A clear timetable for the southpaw's return to game action hasn't yet been established, but he'll likely be sidelined at least through the All-Star break.

Valdez (back) could be reinstated from the 10-day injured list as early as Sunday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Valdez has been dealing with a lower-back strain recently, but he's apparently feeling better and could rejoin the Orioles in the coming days. If the right-hander isn't activated ahead of Sunday's series finale against the Angels, he could return to action early next week when the Orioles return home to face the Blue Jays. Valdez had posted an 11.17 ERA and 2.17 WHIP in 9.2 innings across his last 10 relief appearances prior to his injury.

Paredes (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Paredes spent just over three weeks on the injured list, and he allowed a run on a hit and two walks in one inning across two rehab appearances. The right-hander recorded a lackluster 6.23 ERA and 2.77 WHIP in 8.2 innings with the Astros to begin the season, and he'll remain with the Triple-A club now that he's healthy.

Santana was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.

Santana was traded from the Dodgers to the Rangers in mid-June, and he struck out 12 in five scoreless innings across five relief appearances with Triple-A Round Rock. He should be available out of the bullpen going forward after left-hander Wes Benjamin was sent down in a corresponding move.

Santiago, who's currently appealing his 10-game suspension for allegedly having a foreign substance on his glove, fired a scoreless eighth inning in an extra-inning win over the Rangers on Friday, allowing one hit and recording three strikeouts.

The veteran southpaw seemingly came out on a mission Friday, and with his trio of strikeouts, he ran his K:BB to an excellent 26:7 across 18 innings for the season. The appearance was Santiago's first since his glove was inspected as he wrapped up a 2.1-inning appearance against the White Sox last Saturday.

The Athletics designated Weems for assignment Saturday.

The move was necessary to free up a 40-man roster spot for Sam Moll, whom the team just traded for and called up. Weems posted a 6.23 ERA in 4.1 innings with Oakland this season, striking out four and walking three in his five appearances.
