Nelson was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Nelson spent just over two weeks in the minors but will rejoin the Yankees' bullpen after Aroldis Chapman (elbow) was placed on the injured list. The right-hander allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits and five walks while striking out nine in 6.1 innings across four relief appearances during his recent time at Triple-A.

Chapman was placed on the 10-day injured list due to left elbow inflammation Saturday, retroactive to Aug. 6.

Chapman had picked up saves in each of his last six outings, but he apparently developed an elbow issue. It's not yet clear whether he'll be forced to spend more than the minimum of 10 days on the injured list, but Chad Green and Jonathan Loaisiga will likely be in consideration for ninth-inning duties while Chapman is sidelined.

Morgan is scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Tigers, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

After getting a call-up from Triple-A Columbus to take the hill Monday when Cleveland required a fifth starter, Morgan came through with the best outing of his young career. Though he took a no-decision against the Blue Jays, he worked six innings and struck out nine, both of which were career-high totals. Barring an implosion against Detroit, Morgan should hold down a back-end spot in the Cleveland rotation at least until one of Aaron Civale (finger) or Shane Bieber (shoulder) returns from the injured list.

Clase struck out both batters he faced to record his 15th save of the season in a 6-1 win over the Tigers.

While the final score wasn't particularly close, Blake Parker ran into enough trouble in the ninth inning that the tying run was on deck, creating a save situation for Clase. The right-hander seems to have put his early July struggles behind him, turning in eight straight scoreless appearances with an 8:0 K:BB through 8.1 innings and converting four straight save opportunities.

Scrubb (shoulder) began a throwing program Friday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Scrubb, who was placed on the 10-day injured list July 19 with a right shoulder strain, threw 40 pitches off flat ground Friday as part of a throwing regimen designed by the team's trainers. There is no timetable for when the right-hander can throw off a mound.

Iglesias earned the save against the Dodgers on Friday, pitching one inning and allowing one unearned run on two hits while striking out one.

After the Angels tallied two runs in the top of the 10th inning, Iglesias came in to attempt to close things out. Things got dicey for the right-hander when Chris Taylor's two-out single put the tying run at second base, but Iglesias got AJ Pollock to ground out to end the game. The veteran closer is tied for fourth in the league with 24 saves on the campaign, and he has posted a 1.25 ERA, 0.60 WHIP and superb 33:2 K:BB across 21.2 frames while going 12-for-14 in save opportunities since June 23.

Manager Charlie Montoyo said Friday that Cimber may see increased save opportunities depending on matchups, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Cimber earned his first save of the season Thursday against Cleveland, and he's tossed 7.2 scoreless innings across his last seven appearances. Right-hander Jordan Romano has been the favorite for save chances for most of the season, but he's recorded an 8.31 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 8.2 innings since the start of July. While Montoyo is optimistic that Romano will be able to bounce back, the Blue Jays will turn elsewhere in some ninth-inning situations given his recent inconsistency.

Montero (5-4) allowed an unearned run on one hit and struck out one in one inning, taking the loss versus Minnesota on Friday.

The right-hander allowed an RBI single to Josh Donaldson in the 11th inning, and Houston's offense wasn't able to produce a second tying run as it had an inning before. This was Montero's first loss in three appearances with the Astros. While he began the year as the closer in Seattle, he's pitched to a poor 6.61 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 40:16 K:BB across 47.2 innings. He's unlikely to challenge for Ryan Pressly's closer job anytime soon -- prior to Friday, both of Montero's previous outings with Houston were longer than an inning.

Hendriks (6-2) allowed one hit and no walks while striking out four in 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Cubs on Friday.

Hendriks entered Friday's game with two outs in the eighth inning after Craig Kimbrel gave up a game-tying home run, and the 32-year-old struck out four of the five batters he faced. Hendriks was charged with a blown save July 28, but he's earned two wins and a save by tossing 3.1 scoreless frames across his last three outings.

Wantz was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

The right-hander will provide an extra arm in the Angels' bullpen after Steve Cishek was placed on the bereavement list Friday. Wantz has allowed three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out nine in 5.1 innings across four relief appearances in the majors this year.
