Snead (0-1) allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and struck out one in two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss versus Detroit on Sunday.
Snead was responsible for RBI doubles by Daz Cameron and Willi Castro in the 11th inning, and the Blue Jays couldn't muster a second comeback to get the southpaw off the hook. The 26-year-old Snead has been solid with a 2.35 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 7:2 K:BB across 7.2 innings in his first taste of major-league action. While he saw a high-leverage spot Sunday, he's more likely to serve in a bulk-relief role in most of his appearances.
