Clase allowed a hit in 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the save in Sunday's 11-5 win over Boston.

The hard-throwing righty entered the contest to get the final out in the eighth inning with Cleveland clinging to a one-run lead. The offense took over with a five-run rally in the ninth, giving Clase plenty of breathing room as he logged his 21st save of the year. His scoreless streak ended at 20.1 innings when he allowed a run to Kansas City on Thursday, but he's still been nearly untouchable in the second half. Overall, Clase owns a 1.51 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 63:15 K:BB in 59.2 innings.

Tapia logged a scoreless inning with one hit allowed and two strikeouts during Sunday's 6-0 win over the White Sox.

The right-hander has yielded just two runs on six hits and 10 walks while striking out 13 in his last 15.1 innings. While the walk rate is concerning, Tapia has been successful at limiting the damage recently. He's pitched to a 2.21 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 18:12 K:BB through 20.1 innings between Kansas City and Seattle this year. He's added a win and three holds with the Royals, but he's not likely to be in the closer committee despite the decent results.

Scott allowed a hit and a walk while striking out two in 1.2 innings to earn a hold in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Yankees.

The southpaw was called upon for the last two outs of the seventh inning, and he remained in the game for the eighth. The 27-year-old hasn't been sharp in 11.2 innings since returning from a knee injury, allowing six runs (five earned) with a 10:6 K:BB in that span. For the season, Scott owns a 3.93 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 69:37 K:BB across 52.2 innings while adding a 5-4 record, 16 holds and two blown saves. Scott will still likely serve in a high-leverage role for the rest of the season.

Diplan (1-0) allowed a run on one hit and one walk in one inning, earning the win Sunday versus the Yankees.

The right-hander allowed a two-run home run to Gary Sanchez in the sixth inning, with one of the runs charged to Fernando Abad. Diplan ended up with the win after Baltimore rallied for the lead in the seventh. He's given up nine runs in his last 7.1 innings, which has seen his ERA rocket up to 4.42 with a 1.04 WHIP and 14:7 K:BB through 18.1 innings overall. Diplan is likely to receive mainly low-leverage work for the rest of the season.

Akin allowed four runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five in four innings in a no-decision versus the Yankees on Sunday.

After winning his last two starts, Sunday's outing was a bit of a disappointment for Akin, but he was able to avoid the loss as Baltimore pulled ahead in the seventh inning. The southpaw has a 7.00 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 73:34 K:BB through 79.2 innings this year. He's expected to remain in the rotation for the rest of the season, as Baltimore will evaluate some of its younger arms over the final month of the year. Akin projects for a tough matchup versus Toronto during next weekend's four-game series.

Stanek (1-4) allowed one earned run on one hit in one-third of an inning, taking the loss to the Padres on Sunday.

Stanek relieved Kendall Graveman with one out in the ninth inning. He retired the first batter and needed just one final out to force extra innings. However, he surrendered the game-winning home run by Jake Cronenworth. The 29-year-old had five straight scoreless appearances prior to Sunday's loss. He has a 3.86 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 73 strikeouts in 58.1 innings this season.

Jax allowed four runs on six hits and a walk over 4.2 innings in Sunday's win over the Rays. He struck out three and did not factor in the decision.

Jax kept the Rays off the board for two innings before coughing up a two-run blast to Brandon Lowe in the third. He allowed another run in the fifth and was charged with a fourth and final run after Austin Meadows went deep off Caleb Thielbar. Jax has been hammered for 19 runs over 14.1 innings (11.93 ERA) over his last three outings. He's lined up to face Kansas City at home next week.

Patino allowed four runs on six hits and three walks over 2.2 innings in Sunday's loss to Minnesota. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.

Most of the damage against Patino came in the second inning, during which he allowed three runs on four hits and a walk. It was his shortest appearance since April and just his second time giving up more than three runs in his last seven outings. The rookie right-hander now owns a 4.65 ERA with a 62:25 K:BB through 60 innings. Patino is projected to face the Tigers on the road next weekend.

Colome allowed two hits and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning Sunday, earning a save over Tampa Bay.

After forcing a double-play ball, Colome found himself in a two-on, two-out jam. He escaped when Nelson Cruz flew out to center to end the game. The 32-year-old has converted each of his last four save chances and hasn't given up a run in his last five innings. Colome is sporting a 4.10 ERA and a 42:22 K:BB this season.

Alexy is listed as the Rangers' probable starting pitcher for Monday's game against the Angels.

The rookie right-hander will be rewarded with a second turn through the Texas rotation after he struck out four Rockies over five scoreless frames en route to capturing the win in his MLB debut Aug. 30. Whether he sticks in the rotation beyond Monday will likely depend on how he fares against the Angels; the Rangers could get as many as two starting options back from the COVID-19 injured list by the end of the week in Spencer Howard and Dane Dunning.
