The Blue Jays will include Hatch (hamstring) on their taxi squad for their seven-game road trip that begins Monday in Tampa Bay, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Hatch isn't expected to be added to the 28-man active roster unless the Blue Jays need lose a pitcher to an injury or need someone to eat innings out of the bullpen, but his inclusion on the taxi squad is an indication nonetheless that he's moved past the hamstring issue he picked up his last appearance with the big club Sept. 11 in Baltimore. The Blue Jays optioned Hatch to Triple-A Buffalo a day later, but he didn't make an appearance for the affiliate before joining the taxi squad.

Kittredge landed on the 10-day injured list with neck tightness Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The initial diagnosis doesn't sound too severe, so this could simply be the Rays looking to give one of their best relievers a bit of rest as they coast to the finish, trusting that their 6.5-game division lead should be more than enough with two weeks left to play. Kittredge has been excellent this season, and while his 1.55 ERA isn't quite backed up by his 2.93 FIP and 3.08 xFIP, his combination of a 27.5 percent strikeout rate, 5.6 percent walk rate and 54.0 percent groundball rate makes him a very reliable option. He hasn't pitched since Friday, so the Rays can backdate his assignment by two days, leaving him eligible to return Sept. 28 for the final two series of the season.

The Royals selected Coleman's contract from Triple-A Omaha ahead of Monday's doubleheader in Cleveland.

Coleman receives his first big-league call-up after compiling a 3.28 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, a 93:22 K:BB and a .186 batting average against over 57.2 innings between Omaha and Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Though he picked up seven saves in the minors this season, Coleman will likely be ticketed for a low-leverage role with the Royals.

Lange recorded a pair of holds during the Tigers' weekend series with the Rays, working 1.2 perfect innings between appearances Friday and Saturday.

Since his Aug. 22 call-up from Triple-A Toledo, Lange has seized a key setup role for Detroit. In his 12 appearances since his promotion, Lange has claimed three holds while turning in a 1.32 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB. With Gregory Soto (finger) done for the season and Jose Cisnero (elbow) and Joe Jimenez (COVID-19) also on the injured list, Lange looks to be the next man up for saves behind newly minted closer Michael Fulmer.

Solomon (1-0) earned the win Sunday against Arizona after tossing four innings of one-run ball, allowing one hit and walking three while fanning three. He also tossed two wild pitches.

Solomon pitched at the highest level for the first time since July 1 and looked impressive, giving up just one run despite showing some command issues as his outing progressed. The sample size is really small since he's made just four big-league appearances this season, but Solomon owns a 1.29 ERA so far.

Pressly pitched a scoreless inning and earned the save Sunday against Arizona, striking out the three batters he faced.

Pressly appeared in three games in a row over the weekend series against the Diamondbacks and has now posted four straight scoreless appearances, but he was particularly dominant in the series finale after striking out the side while tossing nine of his 12 pitches for strikes. Pressly has gone 25-for-27 in save chances this year and owns a career-best 2.23 ERA across 59 appearances.

Yarbrough, who took his sixth loss against the Tigers on Saturday while giving up four earned runs on five hits over six innings and recording four strikeouts, nevertheless impressed manager Kevin Cash with the way he overcame early adversity in the outing, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports. "The frustration certainly could have mounted the way the last couple of games have gone, but he did a good job keeping his composure, keeping us in the ballgame," Cash said. "He got the cutter going. He mixed in some more breaking balls. Three-run homers are tough to overcome, certainly in the first inning."

The big blast Cash alluded to came off the bat of Jeimer Candelario, who put Yarbrough in an early hole after the left-hander came in having given up seven earned runs apiece in each of his prior two starts. Yarbrough refused to go into the tank mentally, however, even after Dustin Garneau subsequently tagged him with a solo shot to lead off the second inning. Yarbrough responded by retiring 15 of the next 16 batters, including the final 13, sending him into his next scheduled start against the Marlins either Friday or Saturday with some confidence.

Kowar (0-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out three over four innings as he took the loss against the Mariners on Sunday.

Kowar was knocked around again in what was his third straight start allowing five runs or more. He gave up two in the first on a double from Jarred Kelenic, another in the second and two more in the third on a pair of solo home runs. His success in the minors has certainly not translated over to the big leagues just yet. The 24-year-old righty now owns an 11.45 ERA, 2.23 WHIP and 19:18 K:BB over 22 innings. He should be avoided in lineups at all costs for the remainder of the season.

Iglesias (7-5) got the loss in Sunday's 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Athletics, allowing an unearned run on a hit and a walk.

Iglesias was brought in to pitch the top of the 10th and permitted placed runner Matt Olson to score after surrendering two more baserunners. The loss is the first negative mark on Iglesias' ledger since late July, and he still has a low 1.80 ERA across five innings this month.

Trivino (6-7) got the win in Sunday's 3-2 victory over the Angels, striking out two in 1.2 innings.

Trivino entered a 2-2 tie in the ninth with one out and a runner on second and struck out the next two Angels to send the game to extras. Manager Bob Melvin stuck with the righty after Oakland took the lead in the top of the 10th, and Trivino retired the side in order to seal the victory. Following a brutal five-appearance stretch a few weeks ago, Trivino has thrown five successful outings while surrendering only one run across 6.2 innings in that span.
