Logue was returned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Logue spent just under a week with the Athletics, and he made his big-league debut during Tuesday's victory over the Orioles. He earned the win while allowing a hit and a walk with a strikeout in 1.1 scoreless frames. However, the southpaw will head back to the minors after A.J. Puk (undisclosed) was reinstated from the COVID-19 IL on Wednesday.

Puk was moved to the COVID-19 injured list Monday after he was on the restricted list for the Athletics' weekend series in Toronto. However, he'll rejoin the bullpen ahead of Wednesday's game against the Orioles. In his first three appearances of the season, the southpaw has allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out five in four innings.

De Los Santos' contract was selected by the Guardians on Wednesday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

De Los Santos signed a minor-league deal with Cleveland in early December, but he'll now join the big-league club after several pitchers were placed on the injured list for an unspecified reason Wednesday. The right-hander has made four appearances at Triple-A Columbus to begin the year and has posted a 4.91 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 3.2 innings.

Jackson struck out the lone batter he faced on four pitches en route to recording his first career save Tuesday in the Athletics' 2-1 win over the Orioles.

Jackson was the recipient of the Athletics' first save chance after Lou Trivino was moved to the COVID-19 injured list Monday. The left-handed Sam Moll initially took the hill to begin the ninth inning and struck out two batters and allowed a base hit, but manager Mark Kotsay opted to summon the right-handed Jackson from the bullpen to record the game's final out. Kotsay could be inclined to play matchups in the late innings while Trivino is sidelined, so Jackson likely won't make for an appealing pickup even for managers who are speculating on saves.

Robles (1-0) earned the win Tuesday when he struck out two over 1.2 scoreless relief innings in a 2-1 victory over the Blue Jays.

Robles, who was a late addition to spring training due to visa issues and nearly left off the Opening Day roster, has been dominant early on for Boston. He hasn't allowed a run over five innings (four appearances), extending his scoreless streak to 19 appearances (18.2 innings) dating back to last season. Robles has posted a 0.70 WHIP, .098 BAA, 22 strikeouts and seven walks over that span. The back end of Boston's bullpen was unsettled to start the season, but it looks like Robles and Jake Diekman (picked up his fourth hold Tuesday) will be featured prominently in the final third of games.

Baumann (1-1) took the loss Tuesday versus the Athletics. He allowed two runs on two hits and a walk with two strikeouts in 1.2 innings.

Chris Ellis delivered 4.1 scoreless innings in a spot start, but Baumann wasn't able to follow up with similar results. Baumann ran into trouble in the sixth inning, allowing a two-run double to Seth Brown that put the Athletics ahead for good in the 2-1 game. The right-handed Baumann has allowed three runs, three hits and three walks in 4.1 innings across three relief outings this season. He'll continue to serve as a multi-inning option to pair with the Orioles' starters that haven't built up their pitch counts as much early in the season.

Logue (1-0) got the win during Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the Orioles, allowing one hit and one walk with one strikeout in 1.1 innings.

Making his major-league debut, Logue followed starter Cole Irvin and tossed a 1-2-3 sixth inning. He fell in line for the victory when Oakland took the lead and stayed in for the seventh but was pulled after surrendering two baserunners while recording one out. His role is yet to be defined and could be marginal, though Tuesday's performance is a great start.

Alexander (0-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Yankees after giving up two runs (zero earned) on one hit with two strikeouts and two walks over one inning.

The left-hander needed 42 pitches to get through the opening frame and was victimized by his own error on an infield popup, which allowed two unearned runs to score. There were no health concerns for Alexander, but manager A.J. Hinch opted to utilize a well-rested bullpen after the arduous first inning. The 27-year-old lines up for a start against the Rockies on Sunday, and he should retain his rotation spot for the foreseeable future with Casey Mize (elbow) on the injured list and Matt Manning (shoulder) likely to miss at least one start.

Chapman had one strikeout and didn't allow a baserunner during the ninth inning to record the save Tuesday against the Tigers.

The veteran left-hander had walked four batters and recorded only one out in his past two appearances, but he had no issues Tuesday and retired the side in order with only nine pitches. Chapman was shaky of late but had no real damage done and he has yet to allow an earned run or a hit this season while converting both of his save chances.

Ortega (1-1) earned the win, allowing a walk and no runs in two innings in a 7-2 victory Tuesday in Houston.

Ortega entered the game in the fifth inning with the Angels leading 7-1. He faced the top of the lineup in the fifth and retired them in order. Following a Yordan Alvarez walk to start the sixth, he retired the next three batters. After allowing two runs in his first appearance in 2022, the 25-year-old has not allowed a run in six innings. He has, however, walked four and only struck out two in that span.
