Iglesias earned a save against the Guardians on Monday, pitching a perfect inning during which he struck out one batter.

Iglesias had a three-run lead to work with when he entered in the ninth inning, and he set Cleveland down without issue, needing just seven pitches to retire three batters. The veteran closer has been nearly lights-out across seven appearances this season, allowing only one run on two hits while registering an 8:0 K:BB across seven innings.

Francis was called up by the Blue Jays on Monday.

Francis has yet to make his major-league debut. He's made three starts so far this season for Triple-A Buffalo, striking out 27.0 percent of opposing batters while posting a mediocre 4.11 ERA. He'll likely serve in a multi-inning relief role for now.

Pearson (illness) is preparing for a "bulky role" according to general manager Ross Atkins, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Pearson is still building up to speed after missing the start of the season due to mononucleosis. He's scheduled for his second live batting practice session later this week. While he's seemingly still viewed as a starter long-term and could head to Triple-A Buffalo once healthy, the Blue Jays seem to view his best path to immediate major-league usefulness as coming in a multi-inning relief role.

Borucki was unavailable Sunday while dealing with a blister but is expected to be available Monday against the Red Sox, Gregor Chisholm of the Toronto Star reports.

Borucki presumably picked up the injury Saturday against the Astros, when he retired the lone batter he faced in his season debut. It's been a rough go early on for the 28-year-old, as he missed the start of the season with a hamstring strain and now has the blister.

Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said Pearson (illness) is slated to throw his second live batting practice session either Friday or Saturday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

After opening the season on the 10-day injured list following his diagnosis of mononucleosis, Pearson has shaken off the illness but is still in the process of regaining strength and conditioning. He took a significant step forward by facing hitters last Saturday, but the Blue Jays want Pearson to complete another live session this weekend before mapping out a minor-league rehab assignment for him. Toronto still plans on developing Pearson as a starter, and with a rotation spot with the big club unlikely to be open for him once he's fully ramped up, the 25-year-old seems likely to report to Triple-A Buffalo upon being activated from the IL.

Fleming is expected to pitch behind opener Matt Wisler against the Mariners on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Fleming also followed Wisler in his last outing but struggled versus the Cubs, as he allowed three runs on four hits with two strikeouts and a walk over 3.1 innings, though he still picked up the win. Fleming has a 2.38 FIP and 13:2 K:BB across 10 frames this season, so he could be due for some positive regression.

The Red Sox called up Schreiber from Triple-A Worcester on Monday.

With pitchers Tanner Houck and Kutter Crawford ineligible to compete in the Red Sox's four-game series in Toronto that begins Monday due to their statuses as unvaccinated players, Schreiber and Tyler Danish were summoned from Worcester to provide reinforcement out of the bullpen. Once the series comes to an end, Schreiber will more than likely be outrighted off the 40-man roster and sent back to Triple-A.

Ramirez (1-0) was credited with the win in an extra-innings victory over the Royals on Sunday, firing a scoreless 12th inning in which he issued two walks and recorded two strikeouts.

A day after blowing a two-run lead, Ramirez was thrust into a high-leverage scenario and delivered, albeit with some suspense attached. The right-hander issued back-to-back free passes to Michael Taylor and Ryan O'Hearn after recording a strikeout of Bobby Witt to open the inning, but he bounced back with strikeouts of Whit Merrifield and Nicky Lopez to escape the jam. Ramirez has produced scoreless efforts in four of his six appearances while giving up multiple earned runs in the other two, making him a bit of a feast-or-famine fantasy option early in the season.

Jackson recorded his third hold in a win over the Rangers on Sunday, firing two perfect innings during which he recorded two strikeouts.

Jackson got his six outs on an efficient 22 pitches, 14 of which found the strike zone. The 27-year-old right-hander has now generated scoreless efforts in three of his last four appearances, a stretch during which he's lowered his ERA from 5.40 to 3.86 while also generating a 5:0 K:BB over 3.2 innings.

Yarbrough (groin) retired only one of the six batters he faced Saturday in his rehab start with Triple-A Durham, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and four walks during the 27-pitch appearance.

Since he was placed on the 10-day injured list April 11 with a left groin injury, Yarbrough was expected to need only one rehab appearance before slotting back into the Tampa Bay rotation. However, after Yarbrough's rough showing for Durham in which he threw only 10 of his 27 pitches for strikes, the Rays will likely want to see him right the ship in the minors before activating him. The Rays will need to break in a fifth starter for their home series with the Twins over the weekend, and it's possible the team opts for a bullpen game that day to allow Yarbrough to iron things out at Triple-A.
