Misiewicz, who fired a scoreless seventh inning in a loss to the Astros on Monday, has recorded five consecutive scoreless appearances overall.

The southpaw has yet to work more than one inning, but he's been reliable when called upon. Misiewicz has allowed just one earned run across seven appearances, leading to a 1.69 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 5.1 innings. The 27-year-old also has a pair of holds during that span.

Garcia (0-2) took the loss Monday as the Blue jays were downed 3-2 by the Yankees, allowing one run on two hits over one inning. He struck out one without walking a batter.

Entering a tie game in the top of the ninth inning, Garcia gave up a couple singles with a stolen base in between to cough up the winning run for the Yankees. The right-hander didn't allow an earned run through his first eight appearances for Toronto, but he's been tagged for five in his last 1.1 innings, leaving him with a 4.82 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and mediocre 6:3 K:BB on the season. Garcia's five holds are tied for the team lead, but he could fall out of a high-leverage role if his struggles continue much longer.

The Athletics are expected to reinstate Trivino (illness) from the COVID-19 injured list Tuesday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Oakland opened a spot on the 26-man active roster by optioning infielder Nick Allen to Triple-A Sacramento following Monday's loss to the Rays, setting the stage for Trivino to rejoin the big club after a two-plus-week stay on the IL. Trivino was rocked for five runs over an inning out of the bullpen in his lone rehab appearance with Sacramento on Sunday, so the Athletics may prefer to ease him back into the mix in a lower-leverage spot rather than immediately reinstalling him as their closer.

Green struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Monday to record his first save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Aroldis Chapman had pitched each of the prior two days, while Jonathan Loaisiga and Clay Holmes worked earlier in Monday's contest, so closing duties fell to Green. The veteran right-hander has had a couple bumpy appearances to begin the season, leaving him with a 3.48 ERA and 1.35 WHIP through 10.1 innings, and his velocity (94.5 mph average fastball, down more than one mph from 2021), strikeout rate (22.7 percent, the lowest of his career) and walk rate (career-worst 9.1 percent) are all causes for concern, but the sample size is still small.

Rays manager Kevin Cash confirmed Yarbrough (groin) will be activated from the 10-day injured list to start Tuesday's game in Oakland, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Yarbrough will be making his 2022 debut for the Rays, as he was added to the injured list in the first week of the season when he experienced tightness in his left groin during a pre-start bullpen session. He's since made two rehab starts at Triple-A Durham, covering 2.2 innings and throwing 59 pitches in his most recent outing April 28. Yarbrough will most likely be capped at around 70-to-80 pitches Tuesday, though he could work long enough to qualify for the win against a 10-13 Athletics squad.

Montero earned a save against the Mariners on Monday, allowing one hit and one walk in one scoreless inning.

Montero was far from overpowering in the outing, as he threw only 11 of 21 pitches for strikes and allowed the tying run to come to the plate after inheriting a 3-0 lead. The right-hander got out of a jam by inducing a game-ending double play, however, and thus notched his second save of the campaign. Ryan Pressly (knee) is scheduled to make a rehab appearance Tuesday, so he figures to be back in the closer position for Houston shortly, but Montero may be the best bet for saves in the meantime. In Pressly's absence, he's notched two of the Astros' three saves.

Bautista allowed one hit and struck out two over 1.2 scoreless innings in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Twins.

This was the first time in 2022 that Bautista's recorded five outs. He's allowed runs in just two of his 10 appearances, pitching to a solid 2.70 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 11:4 K:BB across 10 innings. Bautista has picked up a hold and an 0-1 record as a middle-innings option for manager Brandon Hyde.

Baker (1-1) allowed a run on two hits in one-third of an inning, taking the loss Monday versus the Twins.

Baker was responsible for a pair of singles in the sixth inning, the latter being Carlos Correa's go-ahead knock. The Orioles' offense wasn't able to get Baker off the hook. The right-hander started the season well, but he's given up five runs in his last 4.1 innings. The reliever has a 5.79 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 11:1 K:BB across 9.1 innings overall.

Graveman threw a scoreless eighth inning while allowing one hit and striking out one Monday against the Angels.

Graveman entered in the eighth inning with a 3-0 lead. After allowing a leadoff single, he made quick work of the next three batters he faced to earn his fifth hold of the season. Graveman has held opposing teams scoreless in nine of his 11 appearances this season, and he also has an impressive 14:4 K:BB across 12.1 innings. Liam Hendriks appears to have rebounded from some early season struggles and a back injury, though Graveman would likely be next in line for save opportunities.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Ridings (shoulder) is making progress, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Boone offered no elaboration about Ridings' current level of activity, but it's nonetheless an encouraging update about the 26-year-old's status. Ridings is currently on the injured list with a right shoulder impingement and isn't eligible to return until early June. In five games last season, the right-hander allowed one run while posting a 7:2 K:BB across five innings.
