Duran struck out one batter in a perfect inning and earned a save over the Orioles on Monday.

Getting the first save chance of his MLB career, Duran needed just 10 pitches to finish off the 2-1 victory against Baltimore. The 6-foot-5 righty has struck out eight batters during his active six-inning scoreless streak. He's lowered his ERA to 3.00 through 12 innings on the year.

Hendriks earned the save Monday after pitching a perfect ninth inning, striking out three in the 3-0 win over the Angels.

Hendriks snagged his first save since April 16 in a dominant fashion, retiring all three batters he faced via the punchout. The right-hander now has five saves on the season in six opportunities and he owns a 4.82 ERA and 1.82 WHIP with 15 strikeouts over 9.1 innings. After pitching back-to-back days without giving up so much as a hit, it appears Hendriks may be behind the back injury that shelved him for several days.

Bachman missed the first month of the minor-league campaign due to back spasms but is slated to kick off his season with Double-A Rocket City, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

After being taken by the Angels with the ninth pick in the 2021 first-year player draft, Bachman pitched at the High-A level last season, posting a 3.77 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 15:4 K:BB across 14.1 innings over five starts. He's been sidelined due to back spams for nearly a month, though his placement on the injured list was described as precautionary. It's unclear when his first outing with Rocket City will take place, but the decision to send him to the Double-A club suggests that his activation is imminent.

Saucedo (hip) isn't expected to resume baseball activities for the next week or two, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Saucedo landed on the 10-day injured list Saturday after he was removed from his relief appearance against the Astros a day earlier with right hip discomfort. Since he's not going to be able to resume baseball activities this week, Saucedo will end up spending more than the minimum amount of time on the shelf.

Pressly (knee) will make a rehab appearance for Triple A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pressly hasn't pitched since April 13 while dealing with right knee inflammation. The Astros didn't specify whether he'd need one or multiple rehab outings, so the answer may depend on how his appearance goes Tuesday. A return during this weekend's four-game series against the Tigers seems possible, though it's also conceivable he doesn't return until next week if he needs to pitch two or three times in the minors.

Borucki (finger) is scheduled to throw a live batting practice session this week, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Borucki has been on the injured list since Wednesday due to a blister on his pitching hand, and it's encouraging that he'll be cleared to face hitters this week. While a firm timetable for his return to game action isn't yet known, he seems to be trending toward a fairly minimal absence.

Martinez was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday.

Martinez will lose his spot as rosters around the league shrink from 28 to 26. He'd been with the team since Tuesday but appeared just once, tossing one scoreless inning of relief Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Blanco was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday.

Blanco began the season with the major-league club but posted a 7.11 ERA and 1.89 WHIP in 6.1 innings over seven appearances while serving as a low-leverage reliever. He had 22 saves with a 3.40 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 45 innings over 42 appearances in Sugar Land last year and will attempt to replicate his success in the minors before potentially rejoining the Astros at some point.

Pearson (illness) has joined the Blue Jays in Toronto and is slated to throw a bullpen session Monday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Pearson resumed throwing off a mound in mid-April, and he faced hitters last week. General manager Ross Atkins said the right-hander has been building up for a "bulky role" after missing the start of the regular season due to mononucleosis. Once Pearson is fully built up, he'll likely head to Triple-A Buffalo or serve as a multi-inning reliever in the majors.

Trivino (illness) drew the start and took the loss in Low-A Stockton's defeat at the hands of Fresno on Sunday, allowing five earned runs on five hits over one inning while recording two strikeouts.

Trivino's first time back on the mound since April 16 with the big-league club could hardly have gone any worse, as the right-hander struggled to get outs despite the low level of competition. Trivino threw 20 pitches overall -- arguably a bit low considering how much contact he surrendered -- and he may log at least one more rehab appearance given how poorly Sunday's went.
