The Yankees recalled Marinaccio from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.

He'll join the 26-man active roster as a replacement for outfielder Tim Locastro (back), who was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday. After surprisingly winning a spot in the Yankees' Opening Day bullpen, Marinaccio gave up five earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six in four innings over his four relief appearances before he was optioned to Triple-A on April 28.

The Rangers recalled Sborz from Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

He's been designated as the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader with the Yankees and will provide the Rangers with an extra arm out of the bullpen. The Rangers will likely option Sborz to Triple-A at the conclusion of the twin bill.

The Orioles recalled Lakins from Triple-A Norfolk ahead of Sunday's doubleheader with the Royals.

Lakins will provide the Orioles with an extra arm out of the bullpen for the twin bill, but he'll likely be bound for Norfolk at the conclusion of the doubleheader. The right-hander has previously made five appearances for Baltimore this season, covering 8.1 innings while giving up nine earned runs on 12 hits and four walks.

Barnes (0-3) was tagged with Saturday's loss, giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits with one strikeout in the 10th inning of a loss to the White Sox.

After the Red Sox blew yet another save in the ninth inning -- the bullpen has converted just 5-of-14 save opportunities -- Barnes was brought in for the 10th inning. He permitted hard contact on two consecutive hits, which produced both runs, and another hard-hit groundout before getting through the inning. Earlier in the day, the right-hander told Christopher Smith of MassLive.com that his velocity returned (95.2 mph, up from season average of 93.8) during a one-inning stint Friday following a mechanical tweak and claimed it was the best he felt in six months. One day later, his five four-seamers averaged 93.9 mph.

Pilkington is scheduled to be called up from Triple-A Columbus to start Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Pilkington earned a spot on the Guardians' Opening Day roster as a reliever, and he tossed five scoreless innings across three appearances between two stints in the majors before he was optioned down to Columbus a second time April 24. He's made two starts at Triple-A since heading to the minors, most recently working three innings and tossing 59 pitches in his May 3 outing. He'll likely be capped at around 70-to-80 pitches Sunday in his first MLB start.

Lopez (4-0) allowed three hits and struck out one across two scoreless innings to earn the win Saturday against the Red Sox.

Lopez entered the game in the eighth inning and had a relatively smooth start to his appearance. However, he allowed two runners to reach scoring position in the ninth frame before striking out Bobby Dalbec and forcing Trevor Story to pop out to escape the jam. Lopez has pitched exclusively out of the bullpen this season and has a 4.22 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with a 7:4 K:BB across 10.2 innings.

Hendriks did not allow a baserunner across a scoreless 10th inning to earn the save Saturday against Boston.

Hendriks needed only eight pitches to retire Rafael Devers, Xander Bogaerts and J.D. Martinez to pick up his ninth save of the season. Hendriks has turned in six consecutive scoreless appearances, racking up an 8:2 K:BB in that span. He's overcome a shaky start to the campaign and worked around a back injury to cement himself as one of the elite closers once again.

Pressly struck out one and did not allow a baserunner in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save Saturday against the Tigers.

Pressly made his second appearance since returning from the injured list and bounced back from a blown save in his first outing. He retired Tucker Barnhart, Derek Hill and Javier Baez on only eight pitches. He now has four saves in six opportunities this season, but he has only three strikeouts across 5.1 innings of work. Despite a bumpy start to the campaign, it appears that manager Dusty Baker remains comfortable with turning to Pressly in the ninth inning.

Robles allowed one earned run while allowing a hit and a walk to blow the save Saturday against the White Sox.

Robles was called upon to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning. He surrendered a leadoff walk and then a double to ultimately surrender the game-tying run. Robles has now failed to convert his last two save chances, which could mean the team looks towards Jake Diekman or another bullpen arm to fill the closer role moving forward.

Pivetta allowed five hits and no walks while striking out eight across six innings Saturday against the White Sox. He did not factor into the decision.

Pivetta turned in his best performance of the season, as he generated 14 swinging strikes across 91 total pitches. Also notable is that Pivetta has not walked a batter in either of his last two starts, spanning 10.1 frames. That stands in contrast to his first four appearances of the campaign when he handed out 13 free passes across 16.1 innings. Despite the strong outing, Pivetta still owns a 6.08 ERA in six starts.
