Strahm (wrist) threw about 30 pitches in live batting practice Sunday and will begin a minor-league rehab assignment this week, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

The veteran left-hander landed on the shelf in mid-July with a bruised left wrist after being struck by a line drive, and he's now been cleared for a rehab assignment. Strahm could rejoin the Red Sox by the end of the week if all goes well in the minors.

Norris is listed as the Tigers' scheduled starting pitcher for Wednesday's game in Cleveland.

Norris will be making his second straight turn through the Tigers rotation following his call-up from Triple-A Toledo last week. In his first start of 2022 with the Tigers, the southpaw struck out one over 4.2 scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Friday.

Rodriguez was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

Rodriguez failed to make Texas' Opening Day roster and will join the big-league club Sunday for the first time this season. The 24-year-old is looking to make his MLB debut and has a 4.43 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 56:27 K:BB across 42.2 innings at Triple-A this year.

Moore was placed on the paternity list Sunday.

Moore recorded a hold with a scoreless frame Saturday and will now step away from the team for a few days to be with his family. Yerry Rodriguez was promoted from Triple-A Round Rock to fill out the Rangers' bullpen.

Wells (elbow) is shifting his rehab from the FCL to Double-A Bowie on Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Wells struck out two in a perfect inning Tuesday with the Orioles' rookie-ball affiliate. That's enough to get him up to Double-A, where he'll likely still need multiple appearances before he might be cleared to rejoin the big-league roster.

Gillaspie was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

Gillaspie has already been called up and optioned several times this season, and he will again rejoin the big club after tossing four clean innings over his last three minor-league outings. He has allowed five earned runs at the big-league level this season, but four of those came in his last appearance with the Orioles in mid-June.

Logue (3-6) took the loss against Houston on Saturday, allowing six runs on eight hits while striking out two and walking two over 5.1 innings.

Logue struggled Saturday, throwing 68 of 107 pitches for strikes and allowing six of ten baserunners to cross the plate. In eight games as a starter, Logue has struck out fewer than four batters four times including Saturday's outing. It was also the third time he allowed more than three earned runs. Across 41 frames this season, Logue has 29 strikeouts to 45 hits and 25 earned runs, resulting in a 5.49 ERA.

Hall (0-1) took the loss against the Rays on Saturday, allowing five runs on five hits while striking out six and walking three over 3.2 innings.

Hall had a difficult debut against a tough opponent and was pulled after throwing 47 of 76 pitches for strikes across 3.2 frames. While he did not allow a home run, the rookie lefty allowed eight runners to reach base, which resulted in scores on a groundout, two doubles, a single and a sac fly. He flashed some of the strikeout potential he showed in the minors (14.66 K/9 in Triple-A) by striking out six in fewer than four complete innings. His 5.66 BB/9 in Triple-A also manifested in Saturday's game, as he walked three. The future is bright for Hall, but it is reasonable to expect some growing pains along the way.

Hernandez pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in a 7-4 victory over the Mariners on Saturday.

Hernandez continues to look good as the Texas closer. He now has three saves since July 31 and has pitched well this season with a 1.10 WHIP over 10 appearances. Rangers manager Chris Woodward will likely keep handing him the ball as long as he remains effective, although former closer Joe Barlow (finger) could be a factor again once he's activated from the IL.

Effross gave up two hits in a scoreless ninth inning of work to earn the save in a 3-2 victory over the Red Sox on Saturday. He struck out one.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone called on Effross to close the door in the bottom of the ninth in a tight one-run game. He allowed a couple of hits but got the job done by getting Xander Bogaerts to pop up in the infield to end the game with the tying run on third and the winning run at first. It was his second save of the season and his first with New York since coming over from the Cubs at the trade deadline. Yankees closer Clay Holmes has struggled lately, giving up runs in four of his last five appearances, including three blown saves. It is worth monitoring the bullpen usage in New York as it now appears that Effross could be in the mix for saves moving forward if Holmes cannot quickly regain his command. Both Aroldis Chapman and Lou Trivino had pitched earlier in the game and were unavailable in the save situation.
