The Rangers transferred Sborz (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Thursday.

The transaction clears room on the 40-man roster for right-hander Jesus Tinoco, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Round Rock ahead of Thursday's game in Boston. The move also ends Sborz's season, as he was first placed on the 15-day IL on Tuesday due to the right elbow sprain. The 28-year-old reliever made 19 appearances for Texas, churning out a 6.45 ERA and 1.61 WHIP while striking out 32 over 22.1 innings.

Morris (shoulder) was activated from the 60-day injured list Thursday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Morris was shut down with a strain of the teres major muscle in his right shoulder in late March and has been on the shelf all season, but he's now poised to make his make his MLB debut with Cleveland. The 25-year-old pitched well during his six rehab games with Triple-A Columbus with a 2.35 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 30:6 K:BB over 15.1 innings. The right-hander is being developed as a starter but is likely to work as a multi-inning reliever in his first taste of the big leagues.

Borucki (forearm) is slated to undergo more medical testing in Seattle before the week is out but is running out of time to return this season, the team's official site reports. "He'd have to put a ball in his hand real soon to have a chance to come back and help us," manager Scott Servais said.

Borucki sustained his injury during an Aug. 8 relief appearance against the Yankees and hit the injured list a day later. Now approaching one month on the shelf and with no reports of an imminent return, it appears Borucki, who's 2-0 with a 4.26 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and four holds across 21 appearances since joining the Mariners, could be sidelined the rest of the regular season.

Bazardo had his contract selected by the Red Sox on Thursday.

Bazardo was designated for assignment in April after failing to make Boston's Opening Day roster, and he'll now receive his first look in the majors this season. The 27-year-old made his big-league debut with three scoreless frames in 2021, and he has a .3.45 ERA. 1.47 WHIP and 60:19 K:BB across 57.1 innings for Triple-A Worcester this year.

Weiss had his contract selected by the Angels on Thursday.

Weiss has been at Triple-A Salt Lake all season and has a 4.50 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 65:21 K:BB across 50 innings. The 30-year-old's lone appearance in the big leagues came with Cincinnati in 2018.

Logue, whose move to the bullpen was announced Sunday, fired 2.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed two hits and a walk while recording a strikeout in a loss to the Nationals on Wednesday.

The right-hander commemorated his new relief role with an impressive outing that saw him fire 27 of his 43 pitches for strikes and induce a whopping 13 foul balls. Logue had his share of ups and downs across his 10 starts, but he could find his groove in a middle-relief, innings-eating role in the final month-plus of the regular season.

Lawrence was recalled from Triple-A Toronto on Thursday.

Lawrence allowed 11 runs in 8.1 innings over a two-appearance stint with Toronto in early July, and he'll rejoin the big club Thursday with rosters expanding to 28 players. The 34-year-old has an 8.04 ERA over 15.2 innings this season but has been better at Triple-A with a 2.76 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 92:17 K:BB across 20 starts.

The Orioles recalled Hall from Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday.

As Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com noted Wednesday, Hall is seen as a long-term fit in the Baltimore rotation, but he'll be rejoining the big club as a reliever over the final five weeks of the season while the organization looks to manage his workload. Hall had already transitioned to the bullpen prior to his promotion, striking out 11 while allowing three earned runs on two hits and five walks across 6.2 innings over his final four relief appearances for Norfolk.

The Royals selected Mengden's contract from Triple-A Omaha ahead of his scheduled start Thursday against the White Sox in Chicago.

Kansas City had a spot on the 40-man roster already open, so no corresponding transaction was needed to add Mengden, who is one of the Royals' two September call-ups. The 29-year-old southpaw has previously made 48 big-league starts, though his last one came in 2020 with Oakland. While pitching primarily for Omaha this season, Mengden has produced a 4.55 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 76:50 K:BB across 91 frames. He could hold down a spot in the rotation until the Royals return Zack Greinke (forearm) from the 15-day injured list.

White (1-5) took the loss Wednesday, coughing up six runs on eight hits and a walk over 4.2 innings as the Blue Jays fell 7-5 to the Cubs. He struck out five.

The right-hander continues to struggle for Toronto since coming over from the Dodgers. White has been rocked for 13 runs over his last two starts, sending his ERA on the season soaring from 3.63 to 4.67. The Jays don't have any clear alternatives to fill his rotation spot, however, so the 27-year-old may get a chance to work through his issues in the middle of a playoff race.
