Chapman (leg) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Somerset on Sunday, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

Chapman threw a bullpen session Friday and will return to game action in the minors to close out the weekend. The southpaw expects to need at least one more rehab appearance prior to rejoining the Yankees, so it's possible that he'll remain on the injured list until late next week.

Wantz (2-1) was charged with the loss and a blown save against Houston on Friday, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out one batter over one inning.

Wantz came into the contest with the Angels up by a run in the seventh inning. He began the frame by allowing Trey Mancini to single, and Chas McCormick followed with a two-run home run to flip the lead in favor of the Astros. Though Wantz bounced back by retiring the next three hitters, the damage was done, and the righty reliever took his first loss in 55 career outings. Wantz has allowed three runs over his past two innings after going six straight appearances without surrendering a run or a hit.

Armstrong tallied the final out in Friday's win over the Yankees to earn the save.

J.T. Chargois began the ninth inning as the Rays held a three-run lead, but he allowed a homer and a walk before being yanked. Armstrong came in and got Gleyber Torres to fly out to record the final out and his second save of the season. Both of those have come in the last three weeks, though a trio of other Rays' relievers have picked up saves in between. For the season, Armstrong has recorded a 4.59 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with a 54:13 K:BB across 51 innings.

Pressly gave up a solo home run but struck out two over one inning of work to earn the save in a 4-3 victory over the Angels on Friday.

Pressly made his first appearance since being reactivated from the 15-day injured list with a neck strain. He gave up a solo shot to Taylor Ward to make it a one-run game but he struck out the next two batters to close it out for his 26th save of the season. As long as Pressly's neck issues do not flare up again, he should continue to operate as Houston's closer down the stretch.

Clase pitched a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts to earn the save in a 7-6 victory over the Twins on Friday.

Clase was called in to protect a one-run lead after the Twins got to the Guardians' bullpen for two runs in the eighth. He bounced back from a blown save his last time out against the Royals to earn his 32nd save of the season. Clase threw 10 of his 11 pitches for strikes to blow away the hitters with his dominant stuff. He now has 61 strikeouts in 59.1 innings pitched and is tied for the second-most saves in all of MLB.

Pruitt registered a no-decision during Friday's 5-3 loss to the White Sox, striking out two without allowing a hit, walk or run in five innings.

Making his first start of the season in place of James Kaprielian (finger), Pruitt entirely shut down Chicago's offense with two errors accounting for the only baserunners against him. He fired 41 of 55 pitches for strikes with 10 of the swinging variety and was in line for the win until the Oakland bullpen surrendered five runs in the ninth inning. Pruitt possesses a 4.24 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across 46.2 innings and may have earned another turn through the rotation with the excellent performance.

Reed (2-0) pitched 1.1 perfect innings to earn the win Friday over the Red Sox.

Reed ended a threat from the Red Sox in the sixth inning with a double play and got the first two outs of the seventh. He's covered two scoreless innings since joining the Orioles after he was claimed off waivers from the Dodgers. Reed now has a 6.08 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 10:7 K:BB through 13.1 innings on the year, though he's been more effective since moving on from the Mets, where he started the season.

Hendriks saved Friday's 5-3 win against the Athletics, walking and striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Hendriks entered in the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead and issued a leadoff walk before inducing a strikeout and game-ending double play. Aside from a blown save Aug. 25, the 33-year-old has avoided a poor mark since July 23, allowing seven earned runs in 18.1 innings during the stretch. Hendrik's 32 saves place one behind league-leader Kenley Jansen.

Voth allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over four innings against Boston on Friday. He struck out five and did not factor in the decision.

Voth was in line for the loss before the Orioles came back and secured the win Friday. The only damage against him came on Xander Bogaerts' two-run shot in the third frame. Voth has now given up two or fewer runs in six straight starts and 10 of his last 11. Over that 11-game span, he's sporting a strong 2.49 ERA and 45:15 K:BB. Voth is lined up to start in Toronto next week.

Tate allowed one hit and struck out one over 1.1 scoreless innings while earning a save over Boston on Friday.

Tate needed just 15 pitches (12 strikes) to record the final four outs of Friday's 3-2 victory. It was his first save since Aug. 26 after he earned a win in each of his last two outings. Tate is now sporting a 2.66 ERA with a 55:10 K:BB through 58 appearances. Felix Bautista (arm) was not available Friday and Tate could be in line for more ninth-inning work should Bautista miss any additional time.
