Winder was optioned Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday. He gave up two runs and three hits with one walk and one strikeout in two-thirds of an inning in his only appearance this season with the Twins after he was activated from the injured list April 27.

Winder looked set to begin the season as Minnesota's long reliever but came down with a right shoulder injury during spring training. He didn't pitch well during his first outing in the majors, but this move more likely reflects the Twins wanting to rotate fresh pitchers into the bullpen. He'll likely be called back up to a long relief role again soon.

Alcala was recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Saturday.

Alcala was sent to Triple-A on April 21, and he gave up one run in 4.2 innings with six strikeouts and four walks for St. Paul. Alcala had surrendered six runs -- five earned -- on seven hits and five walks through 10 innings of relief. His walk rate was a concern, so his Triple-A stint isn't overly reassuring. He'll return to a middle relief role with the Twins.

Brash (3-3) took the loss against the Astros on Friday, allowing two earned runs on two hits and a walk over two-thirds of an inning. He struck out two.

Brash was tasked with preserving a 4-4 tie when he entered in the ninth inning, but his leadoff walk to Jose Abreu was followed by Kyle Tucker's go-ahead two-run home run to center field. The hard-throwing right-hander recorded a pair of subsequent strikeouts before a Jake Meyers single got him the hook, and he was saddled with his third loss of the season when Seattle couldn't rally. The stumble snapped a four-appearance scoreless streak for Brash while pushing his ERA and WHIP back up to 5.28 and 1.50, respectively.

Jansen picked up the save in Friday's 5-3 victory over Philadelphia, tossing a scoreless ninth in which he allowed one hit and one walk while striking out three.

Jansen, who's been battling back tightness, entered with a two-run lead and struck out Bryson Stott to begin the frame before giving up a single to Edmundo Sosa and walking Brandon Marsh. After allowing the tying run to reach base, the veteran locked in and got Kyle Schwarber and Trea Turner to strike out swinging to end the game. It was Jansen's first appearance since blowing a save April 29 versus Cleveland, and he is now 7-for-8 in save chances while sporting a 0.93 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB through 10 appearances (9.2 innings).

Cordero (1-1) was tagged with the loss against Tampa Bay on Friday as a result of giving up one run on one hit and one walk over one-third of an inning.

The Yankees battled to tie the game with a four-run sixth inning, but Cordero gave the lead back in the bottom of the seventh. He issued a leadoff walk to Jose Siri and then a one-out run-scoring double to Wander Franco before being pulled from the contest. Cordero had been pitching well coming into Friday, allowing just three earned runs over 11.1 frames while posting a 13:1 K:BB over his first 11 games of the campaign.

Duran picked up the save in Friday's 2-0 win over the Guardians, tossing a scoreless ninth in which he allowed one walk and zero hits while striking out two.

Duran continues to struggle with walks (seven over his past five outings), but he hasn't blown a save since April 11. The closer is 7-for-8 in save opportunities on the year and currently sports a 2.13 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 16:9 K:BB through 12.2 innings.

Adam picked up the save during Friday's 5-4 win over the Yankees, tossing a scoreless ninth in which he allowed one hit and zero walks while striking out one.

With Pete Fairbanks (forearm) on the 15-injured list, Adam has drawn three saves chances over the past week and was able to secure the win in each of those games. The right-hander is now 3-for-4 in save opportunities and currently sports a 1.35 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 17:5 K:BB across 14 outings (13.1 innings). As long as Fairbanks is sidelined, Adam will presumably be Tampa Bay's go-to closer.

Martin retired all three batters faced in the eighth inning of Friday's 5-3 win over Philadelphia.

Martin had a second consecutive clean outing, setting the Phillies down in order on five pitches to record his sixth hold. Kenley Jansen cleaned up in the ninth for the save. He's looked like an effective bridge to Jansen since his return from the injured list, throwing three scoreless innings over three appearances and recording holds in all three.

Lopez walked one and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his fourth save of the season in a 5-4 win over the Reds.

The right-hander appears to be fully over the biceps soreness he dealt with earlier in the week, as Lopez pitched for a second straight day and reached 100 mph with six of his 12 pitches. He's struggled as the White Sox closer so far, blowing half of his eight save chances while posting an 8.16 ERA and 1.60 WHIP despite a 32.8 percent strikeout rate. With Liam Hendriks (illness) having begun a rehab assignment, Lopez could be back in a setup role before the end of the month.

Pressly picked up the save in Friday's 6-4 victory over the Mariners. He allowed two hits over one scoreless inning. He did not strike out or walk a batter.

Pressly has now tossed scoreless outings in 12 of his last 13 appearances. The right-hander also sports an elite 0.83 WHIP, and he has yet to blow a save this year.
