Romano picked up the save Wednesday against the Orioles, allowing one run on three hits with no walks over one inning. He struck out one.

Romano appeared to be cruising to his 19th save Wednesday, retiring the first two batters he faced in the ninth inning on a total of six pitches. He made things interesting after that, however, surrendering three consecutive singles, one of which led to a run being scored to pull the Orioles within two, with two runners on. However, the right-hander was able to stop the bleeding with a strikeout over Adam Frazier to end the game. The reliever has now converted each of his last nine save opportunities and trails only Emmanuel Clase (20) for the league lead.

Snead (shoulder) allowed an earned run on two hits over one inning in Triple-A Las Vegas' win over Reno on Wednesday. He did not issue a walk or record a strikeout.

Making his first rehab appearance for the Aviators after a couple of outings for the Athletics' AZL team, Snead struggled a bit versus the higher caliber of competition. The left-hander did get through his one frame on a relatively efficient 15 pitches, however, and he's likely to return to the mound by the weekend for another appearance.

Adam picked up a save in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Athletics, allowing one hit while striking out one over a scoreless inning.

Adam continues to operate as Tampa Bay's primary closer with Pete Fairbanks (hip) on the injured list. The former sports a 2.76 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 38:13 K:BB across 31 appearances (29.1 innings), but he's just 11-for-15 in save opportunities. While Adam has been steady as a late-inning option, Fairbanks' impending return will likely reduce Adam's overall fantasy value moving forward.

Graveman allowed one walk in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Graveman protected a four-run lead, so he wasn't awarded a save. However, the usage does suggest that he'll serve as the White Sox's closer while Liam Hendriks (elbow) remains sidelined. Graveman surrendered two runs in his prior outing, but he's maintained a 1.00 ERA with a 14:8 K:BB across his last 18 appearances.

Pressly (1-2) was charged with a blown save after he allowed three unearned runs on two hits and failed to strike out a batter in an inning of relief, but he picked up the win in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Nationals.

Pressly entered the game in the ninth inning with a three-run lead and blew his third save of the season -- all three of which have come in his last six appearances. The leadoff hitter reached base via an error, but Pressly went on to surrender a double and triple to allow the tying run to score. There's been no indication he will be moved out of the closer role, but Pressly has allowed at least one run in five of his last six outings.

Jax picked up the save Wednesday against the Brewers, striking out one over one scoreless inning.

Jax entered the game in the ninth inning and went 1-2-3 through the Brewers' lineup to nail down his first save of the season. The right-hander, who'd blown all four of his save opportunities this season coming in, threw a sweeper on seven of his 11 pitches to end the game. He has not allowed a run since May 19 against the Angels, registering 12 strikeouts with no walks over that stretch (9.2 innings).

The Tigers returned Bristo to Triple-A Toledo following Wednesday's doubleheader against Atlanta.

Bristo was promoted to serve as Detroit's 27th man for Wednesday's doubleheader and allowed two runs across two innings during Game 1. The 28-year-old reliever holds an 8.77 ERA and 1.75 WHIP across 25.2 innings in Triple-A, making it unlikely he returns to the majors until he shows drastic improvement.

Murfee will receive a second opinion on his ailing right elbow and is expected to be out for an extended period, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Murfee's ulnar collateral ligament will be checked out in addition to some nerve issues in his elbow. It's not clear at this point whether he might need surgery, but even if he doesn't he might be a candidate to move to the 60-day injured list.

Hamilton (groin) will throw a live bullpen Thursday with Double-A Somerset, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander will join Carlos Rodon (back/forearm) in Somerset to throw a live bullpen. Hamilton has been on the injured list since the middle of May, and he could be in line for a rehab assignment in the coming days if the live session goes well.

Texas reinstated Barlow (illness) off the 15-day injured list Wednesday.

Barlow missed just over the minimum 15 days on the injured list while dealing with kidney stones. The right-hander should return to a mid-to-late innings role in the Texas bullpen now that he's healthy. Owen White was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move.
