Bautista (elbow) underwent successful Tommy John surgery in Arlington, Texas on Monday.

As the Orioles' American League Division Series shifts to Texas for Game 3 on Tuesday, Bautista traveled with the team and had his procedure performed by the Rangers' team physician, Dr. Keith Meister, who is also one of the foremost orthopedic surgeons for elbow reconstructions. A first-time All-Star in 2023, Bautista had arguably emerged as MLB's top closer before throwing his last pitch in late August, as he had compiled a 1.48 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 110:26 K:BB to go with 33 saves in 39 chances over 61 innings. He's expected to remain out through the entire 2024 season before returning as a full participant for spring training in 2025 if he endures no setbacks in his recovery from surgery.

Stanek (personal), who was activated from the paternity list Saturday, made his first appearance of the postseason Sunday in the Astros' 6-2 loss to the Twins in Game 2 of the ALDS, giving up one earned run on two hits over 1.1 innings.

Stanek was placed on the paternity list ahead of the Astros' final three games of the regular season and finished the 2023 campaign with a 4.09 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 51:21 K:BB across 50.2 innings. He'll likely continue to serve in a middle-innings role out of the bullpen for the duration of Houston's postseason run.

Bradford secured the win in Sunday's 11-8 victory over the Orioles in Game 2 of the ALDS, allowing three hits across 3.2 scoreless innings. He struck out four.

Bradford entered the game in the fifth inning tasked with protecting a five-run lead and rose to the challenge to earn the first postseason victory of his career. His best work of the outing came in the seventh inning, when he was able to retire the side on just nine pitches, notching two strikeouts. The southpaw entered the postseason in the midst of a rough stretch, pitching to a 7.31 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 14 strikeouts across 16 innings in September.

Funderburk isn't on the Twins' ALDS roster, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Funderburk was included in the Twins' wild-card roster after allowing just one run in 12 innings over the final month of the season, but he didn't appear in either game versus Toronto and will now lose his spot. Funderburk will be replaced by Bailey Ober, who is set to start Game 1 on Saturday.

Graveman isn't on the Astros' ALDS roster due to right shoulder discomfort, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

The Astros didn't give any information on how severe Graveman's injury is or how long he may be out. J.P. France and Hunter Brown both made the playoff roster and will give Houston additional pitching depth to begin the team's postseason run.

Baumann isn't listed on Baltimore's roster for their ALDS matchup against the Rangers, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

After putting up a 3.76 ERA and 1.31 WHIP through 64.1 innings, the Orioles optioned Baumann to Triple-A Norfolk on Sept. 22. He'll remain off the big-league roster as the O's begin their playoff run but could provide a fresh bullpen arm should they make it past Texas.

Baker is on the Orioles' roster for the ALDS, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Baker put up a 3.60 ERA and 1.27 WHIP through 45 innings with Baltimore in the regular season, though he's only pitched in one big-league game since Aug. 1. Baker's lack of recent major-league action indicates he was likely added to the roster as bullpen depth, and he doesn't project to appear in high-leverage situations.

Fujinami isn't on the Orioles' playoff roster for their ALDS matchup against Texas, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Fujinami recorded a 4.85 ERA and 1.21 WHIP through 29.2 innings for Baltimore in the regular season, and he will be held off the ALDS roster to clear space for an extra bench bat. If the Orioles are able to make it past the Rangers, it's possible Fujinami rejoins the active roster to provide a fresh arm out of the bullpen.

Anderson isn't on the Rangers' roster for their ALDS matchup with Baltimore, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Anderson was part of Texas' AL Wild Card Series roster, but he never appeared in a game and will now be replaced by Cody Bradford. Anderson put up a 5.05 ERA and 1.46 WHIP through 35.2 innings during the regular season and could return as bullpen depth for the ALCS if the Rangers make it past the O's.

Bradford is listed on the Rangers' roster for their ALDS matchup with the Orioles, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

After being left off Texas' wild-card roster, Bradford will rejoin the bullpen for the AL Divisional Series, replacing Grant Anderson. Bradford posted a 5.30 ERA and 121 WHIP through 56 major-league innings in the regular season, and he's given up 13 runs over 16 frames since being recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Sept. 1.
