Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Twins.

Ohtani has homered three times over his last six games, going 7-for-25 (.280) with six RBI in that span. For the season, the two-way star is up to 11 homers, 32 RBI, 27 runs scored, six stolen bases, eight doubles and two triples with a .286/.357/.543 slash line over 45 contests. He's scheduled to start on the mound Sunday in the series finale versus Minnesota.

Alvarez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Saturday's 3-2 win against Oakland.

Alvarez plated the game's initial run with a first-inning sacrifice fly, and he capped the scoring in the contest with an eighth-inning solo homer that provided the winning margin for Houston. The long ball was his 10th of the season, putting him among 30 MLB players to reach double-digit home runs so far this season. Alvarez has added a .292/.385/.569 slash line and 41 RBI through 169 plate appearances.

Buxton left Saturday's game against the Angels with right calf tightness, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Buxton was removed for Edouard Julien in the sixth inning, with Julien remaining in the game in the designated hitter spot. At this point, Buxton should be considered day-to-day, but there should be an update on his status before Sunday's series finale against the Angels.

Turner (knee) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Turner exited with left knee soreness against the Padres on Friday, and manager Alex Cora told reporters after the game that it was very likely Turner would miss Saturday's contest. Masataka Yoshida is the designated hitter for Saturday's contest, with Raimel Tapia getting the start in left field.

Lewis (illness) played in an Arizona Complex League game for the second time in three days Friday, the Arizona Republic reports.

Lewis played left field Wednesday and Friday. The outfielder has been out since April 8, so a significant rehab stint will likely be needed before returning from the injured list.

Morel went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Friday's 10-1 win over the Phillies.

He wrapped up the rout by taking Andrew Bellatti deep in the ninth inning. Morel has six homers in nine games since his promotion, batting a blistering .359 (14-for-39) during that stretch with one steal, 12 runs and 12 RBI.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters after Friday's game that Turner (knee) is unlikely to play Saturday against the Padres, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

"[Turner] felt it in the first inning," Cora said. "He swung at something and felt it in the knee. So we just took him out just to make sure he's OK. Probably he'll be down [Saturday] and hopefully, he'll be back on Sunday." Turner should be considered day-to-day, but it does appear the right-handed hitter will be out of the lineup for Saturday's contest against San Diego.

Turner left Friday's game against the Padres with left knee soreness, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports. He went 0-for-1 with a run scored before leaving.

Turner was replaced in the top of the fifth by Triston Casas. For now, Turner should be considered day-to-day, but it's possible the veteran infielder will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury.

Ozuna went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Friday's victory against the Mariners.

Ozuna tied the game with an RBI single in the seventh inning before adding two insurance runs with another single in the eighth. He's now riding a six-game hitting streak, going 8-for-24 (.333) with eight RBI during that stretch. Still, the veteran outfielder is sporting an ugly .189/.289/.434 slash line through 30 games.

Pederson (hand) is continuing his rehab and doing light baseball activities, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Pederson was placed on the injured list Monday with a bruise on his right hand retroactive to May 13, and he could end up seeing a minimum stay on the IL.
