Solak is not in Saturday's lineup against the Yankees.

He is hitting .292/.393/.528 with four home runs and one steal in 20 games this month. Shin-Soo Choo will start at designated hitter and lead off.

Canha (groin) went 0-for-4 in Friday's loss to the Mariners.

Canha was back in the lineup after a one-game absence and played all nine innings in center field during the postseason-clinching win without any setbacks. The versatile veteran's blanking at the plate aside, Canha has been a pivotal part of the Athletics reaching the postseason for a second straight year with career highs in home runs (26), batting average (.273), on-base percentage (.396) and slugging percentage (.518).

Choi (foot) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Blue Jays.

He is battling a bone bruise on his foot and has not played since Sept. 25. Nate Lowe will start at first base and bat sixth.

Brantley went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Friday's 4-0 win over the Angels.

The Astros had only four hits in the game, and Brantley's was the biggest of them all, an eighth-inning blast off Angels reliever Luis Garcia. Brantley exited the game in the bottom half of the inning as Jake Marisnick entered as a defensive replacement. Brantley is hitting .311/.372/.502 in 147 games this season, adding a career-high 22 homers as well as 89 RBI and 88 runs scored.

Ford went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, four RBI, and three runs scored in Friday's win over the Rangers.

Ford extended the Yankees' lead with a two-run homer in the sixth inning, and he tacked on a two-run double in the ninth. On the season, Ford is batting .257/.346/.564 with 12 home runs and seven doubles across 48 games. His postseason playing time will be limited with Edwin Encarnacion (oblique) returning soon and Luke Voit also available, but until then, he's certainly proving his own potential.

Stanton went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and a pair of walks in Friday's win over the Rangers.

It was just the third homer of the year for the 29-year-old slugger, but the 435-foot bomb was the 300th home run for the Yankees this season, a milestone reached by the Twins just a day ago. Stanton added a two-run single in the fourth inning and walked twice to complete his perfect night at the plate. Across 16 games since returning from the injured list, Stanton is slashing .308/.431/.538.

Canha (groin) is starting in center field and batting fifth Friday against the Mariners.

Canha was held out of Thursday's contest after suffering a left groin strain Wednesday, but he's already been cleared for game action. He's batting .400 with two homers and four RBI over his last seven games.

Choi is day-to-day with a bone bruise on his foot, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Choi fouled a ball off his foot Wednesday. His X-rays and CT scan were negative, but he didn't escape entirely uninjured and will sit for at least one game. Nate Lowe starts at first base Friday.

Reyes is not in the lineup Friday against the Nationals.

With the series being played under National League rules, Reyes can't fill his typical designated hitter spot. Cleveland has trusted him with an outfield role just once since acquiring him at the trade deadline, so there's a chance he's already made his final start of the year.

Martinez is not in the lineup Friday against Baltimore, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Martinez has gone 10-for-21 with seven RBI over his last five games. Mookie Betts will return from a foot injury but only as a designated hitter Friday, bumping Martinez to the bench.
