Keaschall (forearm) has started hitting off a tee, MLB.com reports.

Keaschall suffered a fractured right forearm in late April. It's encouraging that he's doing some activity, but he'll ultimately need his bone to completely heal before he begins a minor-league rehab assignment. He's not expected to return until some point in July at the earliest.

Rice is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds.

Rice came up big while making a pair of starts against Baltimore over the weekend, going 5-for-9 with three extra-base hits in the Yankees' series victory. Though he'll be back on the bench Monday as the Reds send southpaw Nick Lodolo to the mound, the left-handed-hitting Rice has made it increasingly difficult for manager Aaron Boone to take him out of the lineup when the Yankees face righties. In his 192 plate appearances versus righties this season, Rice has produced a robust .266/.354/.509 slash line (143 wRC+).

O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

The left-handed-hitting O'Hearn hasn't been used as a strict strong-side platoon player this season, but he'll take a seat for the series opener versus Texas while the Rangers send a lefty (Patrick Corbin) to the hill. Coby Mayo will enter the lineup in place of O'Hearn as the Orioles' starting first baseman.

Triple-A St. Paul placed Gasper on its 7-day injured list Monday due to bilateral plantar fasciitis.

The severity of Gasper's injury isn't clear, but the fact that he's battling plantar fasciitis on both feet suggests he'll likely be sidelined for more than the minimum seven days. Gasper has put up a porous .488 OPS over 39 plate appearances with the Twins this season, but he's crushed Triple-A pitching, slashing .318/.418/.609 with 10 home runs in 40 games for St. Paul.

Larnach (hand) will serve as the Twins' designated hitter and No. 3 batter in Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Larnach didn't start the first two games of the series after being scratched Friday due to a bruised right hand, but he's made enough improvement to give it a go. The 28-year-old heads into Sunday's contest in the midst of a lull at the dish, slashing .176/.275/.353 with one home run, five RBI and five runs over his last 11 games.

Rice went 2-for-5 with a home run, a triple and two total RBI in a 9-0 win against the Orioles on Saturday.

Rice was the only Yankee with multiple-extra base hits Saturday, as he swatted a solo homer in the second inning and added a run-scoring triple in the fifth. The long ball was his first in 14 games and just his second in June. Rice is batting .173 through 52 at-bats this month, but he's at least managed to keep strikeouts down with a 17.9 percent K rate during that span.

Stanton isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game versus the Orioles.

Stanton is 5-for-15 through his first five games since returning from the IL, and he'll take a day to rest Saturday. His absence will move Aaron Judge to the DH spot while Jasson Dominguez, Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger start across the outfield.

Diaz went 3-for-5 with two solo home runs in Friday's 14-8 win over the Tigers.

Diaz set the tone with a leadoff home run in the first inning before tacking on another solo shot in the fifth to extend the Rays' lead to six runs. Diaz is in the midst of an 11-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in each of his last 15 games. He has a scorching .468 batting average (22-for-47) with 10 runs scored, four home runs and 10 RBI during his current hitting streak.

The Angels placed Soler (back) on the 10-day injured list Friday.

Soler will be sidelined for at least a week and a half due to nagging back soreness, an issue that held him out of back-to-back games before Friday's move. Gustavo Campero was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. Soler won't be eligible to be activated until June 30.

The Angels are expected to put Soler (back) on the injured list, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports

Soler had missed back-to-back games due to back soreness and won't be able to avoid a stint on the injured list. The 33-year-old is slashing .207/.280/350 with eight home runs in 264 plate appearances this season. LaMonte Wade and Scott Kingery could receive more playing time while Soler is sidelined.
