George Springer DH | TOR
Blue Jays' George Springer: Two more homers Tuesday
Springer went 3-for-4 with a walk, two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 12-9 win over the Reds.
The veteran outfielder led off the game with a solo shot off Scott Barlow, and then muscled a Brent Suter fastball over the center-field fence for a two-run blast in the fourth. It's the second two-homer performance from Springer in his last seven games, and since returning from a concussion Aug. 16 he's been on an absolute tear, slashing .381/.466/.794 over 16 contests with eight home runs, four steals, 14 RBI and 21 runs. With 23 games left on Toronto's schedule, Springer needs four more long balls to reach 30 for the third time in his career, and four stolen bases to tie his career high of 20.

Bryan Ramos 3B | CHW
White Sox's Bryan Ramos: Knocks in two in first start
Ramos went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI on Tuesday against the Twins.
Ramos was recalled when rosters expanded Monday and was in the big-league lineup for the first time in 2025 on Tuesday. He struck out three times but also delivered a two-RBI double in the fifth inning. Ramos figures to be primarily a bench bat, but he could get mixed in against right-handed starters while Miguel Vargas (wrist) is sidelined.

Yandy Diaz DH | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Scores twice Tuesday
Diaz went 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored Tuesday against the Mariners.
Diaz reached base on a walk in both the first and seventh innings while coming around to score on each occasion. He's reached base multiple times in 15 of his last 25 starts dating back to Aug. 1. In that span, he's hit .302 with four home runs, 14 RBI and 14 runs scored while maintaining an .856 OPS.

Jorge Polanco DH | SEA
Mariners' Jorge Polanco: Reaches in all four PA
Polanco went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Rays.
Polanco walked twice in addition to his pair of hits, reaching base in each of his plate appearances Tuesday. A fourth-inning solo home run off Drew Rasmussen marked Polanco's third long ball in five games and his fifth round tripper in his last 11 games. The 32-year-old is slashing .254/.319/.472 in 2025.

Mike Trout DH | LAA
Angels' Mike Trout: Scratched Tuesday
Trout was scratched from the lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Royals due to a skin infection.
Trout's infection will prevent him from starting Tuesday, and it's currently unclear if his absence will extend further into the Angels' series against Kansas City. Jo Adell will fill in as the Halos' designated hitter while Trout sits, opening up right field for Chris Taylor.

Yordan Alvarez DH | HOU
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Getting breather Tuesday
Alvarez is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
It's the second day off Alvarez has received since he returned from the 60-day injured list a week ago, as the Astros don't want to overload him following a long absence. Yainer Diaz is in the designated hitter spot and Jose Altuve is playing left field Tuesday.

Jahmai Jones DH | DET
Tigers' Jahmai Jones: Goes deep in four-hit game
Jones went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, two RBI and two total runs scored in Monday's 10-8 loss to the Mets.
Batting first against New York southpaw Sean Manaea, Jones continued to torment left-handed pitching with his first career four-hit game. The 28-year-old now has a .913 OPS against lefties this year, and he's hit all five of his home runs in those matchups, including one to lead off the contest Monday. Jones doesn't typically play against righties, which limits his fantasy upside, but he's worth using when he has the platoon advantage.

Bryan Ramos 3B | CHW
White Sox's Bryan Ramos: Moves up from Triple-A
The White Sox recalled Ramos from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.
The 23-year-old third baseman got his first taste of the big leagues last season, appearing in 32 games with Chicago and slashing .202/.252/.333 with three home runs, 11 RBI, 13 runs scored and a 7:22 BB:K across 108 plate appearances. He's spent the entire 2025 season at Triple-A, producing a .218/.317/.391 slash line with 14 home runs and 13 stolen bases over 392 trips to the plate. Ramos is unlikely to be in line for regular playing time with the White Sox in September, at least not right away.

Masataka Yoshida DH | BOS
Red Sox's Masataka Yoshida: Out of lineup versus lefty
Yoshida is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.
Yoshida had started in all three of the Red Sox's games versus Pittsburgh over the weekend and went 2-for-10 with two walks and one run, but he'll head to the bench Monday while the Guardians send lefty Parker Messick to the hill. Rob Refsnyder will replace Yoshida in the lineup at designated hitter.

Colt Keith DH | DET
Tigers' Colt Keith: Sitting against southpaw
Keith is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
After starting in each of the Tigers' last six games, the left-handed-hitting Keith will retreat to the bench while the Mets send southpaw Sean Manaea to the hill for the series opener. Keith is slashing just .143/.200/.167 over 45 plate appearances versus lefties this season.
