Wallach isn't in the Angels' lineup Saturday against Arizona, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Wallach put together a five-game hitting streak in mid-June, but he's now 0-for-20 with nine strikeouts across his last eight games. Matt Thaiss will start behind the dish Saturday for the Angels and bat sixth.

Rogers isn't in the Tigers' lineup Saturday against the Rockies.

Rogers has recorded a hit in five of his last six games, going 6-for-16 with a homer, two RBI and five runs scored in that span. He'll take a seat Saturday while Eric Haase starts behind the plate and bats ninth.

Diaz will sit Saturday against the Tigers, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Diaz will miss out on a start at Coors Field, a venue where he's hit .328/.362/.563 this season. Austin Wynns gets the nod behind the plate.

Contreras will sit Saturday against the Pirates.

Contreras finds himself on the bench for the second time in three games, which follows a stretch in which he started seven out of eight games behind the plate. His OPS has trended down each month this season, going from .779 in April to .746 in May and finally .710 in June, though producing in line with that latter mark for the rest of the season would still be perfectly acceptable for a backstop. Victor Caratini starts behind the plate Saturday.

Stallings (ankle) will be on the bench Saturday against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Stallings left Friday's series opener with a sore left ankle. He'll hit the bench Saturday, but there's no guarantee that's due to the injury, as he hasn't started back-to-back games since mid-May. Nick Fortes will start behind the plate.

Langeliers isn't in the Athletics' lineup Saturday against the White Sox.

After going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored Friday, Langeliers will get a breather Saturday. Carlos Perez will take over behind the dish and bat third.

Garver isn't in the Rangers' lineup Saturday against the Astros.

Garver collected hits in his last two starts but has now sat two straight games. Jonah Heim will start behind the dish Saturday, and Ezequiel Duran will serve as the DH.

Raleigh went 1-for-2 with two walks and a run in a loss to the Rays on Friday.

Raleigh managed to close out a strong second half of June with yet another productive outing, pushing his slash line over the last 11 games to an impressive .308/.341/.462. The 26-year-old backstop encouragingly carries only a 14.6 percent strikeout rate over that span as well, a welcome improvement over the 26.5 percent figure he entered the stretch with.

Murphy went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and a walk in a loss to the Rays on Friday.

The veteran got the start at designated hitter and once again thrived versus a lefty, taking what turned out to be a less-than-100-percent Shane McClanahan (back) deep in the second inning with Teoscar Hernandez aboard. Murphy's bat seems unfazed by the fact he sees sporadic playing time, as he's now hitting .409 (9-for-22) with two doubles, three homers, seven RBI, a walk and four runs across his last six starts dating back to June 10.

Langeliers went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a stolen base and a run in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

The slumping catcher pushed his season average back over the Mendoza Line with the multi-hit effort, only his second such game since June 4. Langeliers had been mired in a 4-for-36 slump over the previous 10 games before Friday's productive night, and despite his .202/.267/.356 slash line, he retains a seemingly firm hold on his spot as the primary backstop and occasional designated hitter.
