Salvador Perez C | KC
Royals' Salvador Perez: Out of lineup Tuesday
Perez is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Guardians.
Freddy Fermin will start at catcher and Edward Olivares will take a turn in the DH role as the Royals open a three-game series versus Cleveland. Perez went 0-for-8 with three strikeouts and one walk in the final two games of Kansas City's weekend series at Tampa Bay.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Out of lineup
Stephenson isn't in the Reds' lineup Tuesday against Baltimore.
After going 5-for-15 with two runs scored across his last four games, Stephenson will get a breather Tuesday. Luke Maile will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Jake Rogers C | DET
Tigers' Jake Rogers: Hits 10th home run
Rogers went 2-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Monday's win over the Rangers.
Rogers went deep in the sixth inning with a runner on for his 10th home run of the season, which matches his career total before this year. He was starting for the second straight day behind the plate and has seemingly edged ahead as Detroit's primary catcher, though Eric Haase played left field Monday, so both catching options saw the field.

Yasmani Grandal C | PIT
White Sox's Yasmani Grandal: On bench Monday
Grandal is not in the lineup Monday against the Angels.
Seby Zavala will catch and bat ninth. This looks to be a routine day off for Grandal, who missed some time last week with a sore right knee but started behind the plate both Saturday and Sunday versus Boston.

James McCann C | ARI
Orioles' James McCann: Doing baseball activities
McCann (ankle) resumed baseball activities Monday, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
On the injured list since June 17 because of a left ankle sprain, McCann appears on track to return to the Orioles sometime in early July. Anthony Bemboom is currently serving as Adley Rutschman's backup behind the plate.

Will Smith C | LAD
Dodgers' Will Smith: Goes deep again Sunday
Smith went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk Sunday in an extra-innings loss to Houston.
Smith homered for the second straight contest, slugging a game-tying two-run shot to center field in the bottom of the eighth inning. The star catcher continues to be a steady and potent force in the heart of the Dodgers' lineup, slashing .306/.479/.583 with three long balls, eight RBI, six runs and a 10:11 BB:K over his past 11 games. Smith's 1.12 BB/K ranks second behind only Luis Arraez among qualified major-league hitters this season.

Christian Vazquez C | HOU
Twins' Christian Vazquez: Sits in favor of Jeffers
Vazquez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
Vazquez has submitted a palatable .708 OPS thus far in June, but that hasn't been enough for him to gain sole possession of No. 1 catching duties from Ryan Jeffers, who has been swinging a hotter bat of late. The two backstops have now alternated starts over the last eight games.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Not in lineup Monday
Murphy is not in the lineup Monday versus the Twins.
Murphy went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in his return Sunday from a hamstring tweak, but he'll grab a breather Monday as Atlanta opens a three-game series versus Minnesota. Travis d'Arnaud is catching and batting fifth.
