Pinto went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Pinto has split the catcher role evenly across the last two weeks with Christian Bethancourt, and he's made the case to maintain that playing time by hitting .357 with three homers and nine RBI across 12 games. After his home run Tuesday, he's also gone deep into back-to-back games and has four extra-base knocks in his last six contests. Pinto has the profile of a backup catcher after progressing slowly through the Rays' minor-league system, though he did post 125 and 116 wRC+ marks with Triple-A Durham in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Rodriguez is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Brewers, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

It's an afternoon game following Tuesday night's loss to the Brew Crew, so Rodriguez will get a breather. Jason Delay will do the catching for opener Colin Selby.

Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a three-run home run, two additional runs scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 11-5 win over the Nationals.

The rookie catcher kicked the Mets' offensive eruption into high gear in the first inning, crushing a Patrick Corbin fastball deep to left-center field. Alvarez's homer was his 22nd of the season while the steal was his first, but he also committed his 11th fielding error in 105 games. The 21-year-old's bat figures to play anywhere, so it'll be Alvarez's defense that determines whether he sticks behind the plate in the long term.

Maldonado went 2-for-5 with a pair of two-run home runs in Tuesday's 14-1 victory over the Rangers.

Maldonado played a key role in the Astros offensive barrage Tuesday, accounting for two of the team's six home runs on the day. The catcher plated Mauricio Dubon on both long balls, with each coming off opposing pitcher Dane Dunning. Over his last six appearances, Maldonado is batting 7-for-23 (.304) with three homers, six total RBI and four total runs scored.

Campusano went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Tuesday's 8-0 win over the Phillies.

Campusano sat out to begin Monday's game and went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter in that contest after sustaining a groin injury Sunday. He was able to get back behind the dish Tuesday, playing the full game at catcher while delivering his first game with multiple RBI since Aug. 7. The 24-year-old backstop has impressed in limited action this year with a .309/.347/.491 slash line, five home runs, 18 RBI, 18 runs scored and five doubles over 118 plate appearances.

Lee went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 7-6 loss against Kansas City.

Despite entering Tuesday's game hitless over his last eight appearances and sporting a 1-for-25 (.040) tally on the season, Lee delivered a three-run home run off Brady Singer for his first career long ball. Although Tuesday's performance was encouraging, fantasy managers shouldn't get their hopes up moving forward considering his previous struggles.

Manager Gabe Kapler said Bailey might have a concussion after colliding with Jeimer Candelario during Tuesday's game against the Cubs, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Bailey was reportedly feeling lightheaded after Candelario slid into him during the seventh inning. If Bailey does indeed have a concussion, he will be forced to miss at least seven days, and Blake Sabol will be next in line to start behind the plate for San Francisco. For now, Bailey should be considered day-to-day.

Gomes went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 11-8 win over the Giants.

After Miguel Amaya picked up a start Sunday, Gomes has returned to go 5-for-7 across the first two games of an important series with San Francisco. The veteran catcher isn't an elite offensive option, but he's been solid with a .275 average and .741 OPS across 97 games. Gomes should continue to start most days down the stretch with Amaya available to spell him.

Naylor went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 8-3 loss against the Twins.

Naylor launched a two-run homer in the third inning and added a stolen base after reaching on a walk in the fifth. The rookie backstop posted a slash line of .179/.267/.325 through his first 39 career games. However, the 23-year-old has turned things around over his last 14 games, compiling a .351 batting average with four home runs, nine RBI and seven runs across 37 at-bats during tha stretch.

Barnes said he felt fine after exiting Tuesday's game against Miami upon getting hit by Nick Fortes' backswing, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Barnes said he has a bruise on his left temple and will be re-evaluated ahead of Wednesday's game. The 33-year-old has been serving as the backup to Will Smith all season, and he will likely return to the Dodgers' lineup in a couple days if everything checks out after further testing.
