Goodman smashed a two-run homer to left field in the first inning and added a two-run single in the sixth. The 25-year-old backstop has been swinging a hot stick of late, batting .429 (15-for-35) with two homers, eight runs and 11 RBI over his past eight games. Goodman has emerged as one of the league's better offensive catchers this season, and he ranks second at the position with 29 RBI while slashing .300/.354/.506 with seven long balls through 43 contests.

O'Hoppe went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Saturday's 11-9 win over the Dodgers.

O'Hoppe had hit a skid recently, going just 2-for-27 with a walk, 10 strikeouts and two RBI over his previous eight games. He quickly made an impact Saturday, delivering a two-run single in the first inning before tacking on a three-run homer in the seventh. O'Hoppe's already at 10 homers this year, halfway to matching his career-best total from 136 games in 2024. The catcher has added a .254/.289/.485 slash line with 23 RBI, 14 runs scored, one double and no stolen bases over 38 contests this season.

Jeffers went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional run and a double in Saturday's 7-0 win against the Brewers.

Jeffers gave Minnesota an early lead with a 420-foot solo blast in the first inning. He added three more knocks to log his first four-hit game of the campaign. The veteran catcher is hitting well with a .270/.350/.418 slash line through 137 plate appearances on the season. However, he's gone deep just three times after slugging 21 home runs last year.

Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Padres.

Raleigh took San Diego reliever Adrian Morejon's first pitch deep to lead off the seventh inning. Over the last five games, Raleigh has gone 6-for-17 (.353) with three homers, six RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base. The catcher is already up to 15 long balls on the year, and he's added a .968 OPS, 31 RBI, 31 runs scored, five stolen bases and eight doubles over 44 contests.

Baldwin went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run against Boston in a loss Saturday.

Baldwin hit one of three Atlanta homers off Red Sox starter Lucas Giolito, slugging a 416-foot two-run shot in the third inning. The rookie catcher has been scorching at the plate of late -- over his past four games, he's batting a sizzling .625 (10-for-16) with two home runs and five RBI. Baldwin's hot stretch extends even further -- through 11 games in May, he's batting .556 (15-for-27) with three long balls and eight RBI. His performance has led to Baldwin moving into a timeshare with Sean Murphy behind the plate, as the pair has alternated starts for Atlanta's past eight games.

Smith isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels, Andres Soto of MLB.com reports.

After going 2-for-4 with a run in Friday's series opener versus the Halos, Smith will catch a breather Saturday while Dalton Rushing starts behind the plate and bats eighth.

Heim isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's contest against Houston.

Heim will begin on the bench after starting behind the plate in each of the Rangers' previous two games. He'll give way to Kyle Higashioka, who returned from a stint on the injured list Tuesday.

Murphy isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox.

Atlanta seems to have fallen into a pattern of alternating between Murphy and Drake Baldwin behind the plate, and Saturday will mark the latter's turn to start after Murphy went 2-for-4 with a home run Friday.

Stephenson isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Guardians.

Stephenson has gone just 4-for-20 with nine strikeouts across his last five games and will step out of the starting nine Saturday, allowing Jose Trevino to start behind the plate and bat eighth.

Ramirez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Tampa Bay.

Ramirez will get a breather Saturday after going 5-for-18 with a homer, three RBI and three runs scored over his last five games. His absence will put Nick Fortes behind the plate to catch for Sandy Alcantara.
