Caratini had started in each of the previous three games, going 4-for-13 with a home run, two doubles, five RBI and an additional run.

Teel will rest for Sunday's day game after he went 0-for-4 with a walk and a run while catching all nine innings of Saturday's 10-3 win. Edgar Quero will spell Teel behind the plate.

Jeffers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Christian Vazquez will handle catching duties for Minnesota while Jeffers receives a breather after starting the previous two contests. After going 0-for-18 in his previous six games, Jeffers broke out of his slump Saturday with three base hits.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Jansen will receive a routine breather Sunday after he had started behind the plate in the first two games of the series. Matt Thaiss will replace Jansen as the Rays' starting catcher.

Hicks is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Hicks will sit for the second time in the past three games, even though the Marlins have faced a right-handed starter in all three contests. The 26-year-old has a .708 OPS with a 5:6 BB:K in his past 10 games and should continue to see at least semi-regular starts, though his grip on a strong-side platoon role appears to be slipping.

Torrens is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Torrens will receive a breather after starting each of the previous three contests. Hayden Senger will handle catching duties Sunday.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

The Guardians are going with a righty-heavy lineup to counter Tarik Skubal, so Naylor will join Kyle Manzardo, Nolan Jones and Daniel Schneemann on the bench. Austin Hedges will fill in behind the plate.
