Casali (hamstring) will report back to Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday to resume his rehab assignment, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Working back from a sore right knee, Casali appeared in two games for Louisville a little over a week ago before being pulled off the assignment after he sustained a left hamstring strain. The hamstring tweak was apparently only minor in nature, as he was able to resume baseball activities after a few days off. If all goes well during the rehab assignment, the 30-year-old could be cleared to rejoin the Reds for their series in Pittsburgh next weekend.

Barnhart went 1-for-2 with two RBI in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.

Barnhart didn't draw the start Sunday, but he entered the contest in the eighth inning and drove home a pair in the bottom of the ninth. The 28-year-old backstop is slashing .231/.332/.385 with nine homers and 32 RBI over 81 games this season.

Nola went 2-for-5 with a solo home run Sunday against Toronto.

Nola smacked a solo homer in the fourth inning, marking his sixth long ball of the season. The 29-year-old is now slashing .314/.362/.537 with 14 extra-base hits and 13 RBI over 45 games in 2019.

Murphy went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and a stolen base in Sunday's win over Toronto.

Murphy launched a two-run home run in the fourth inning, handing his team a four-run lead. He'll end his week on a high note, as he's now homered three times in the last two days. Murphy will also head into Monday's series opener in Tampa Bay with a six-game hitting streak.

Contreras (hamstring) is making progress in his rehab and is now "beyond discomfort," Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Contreras is no longer experiencing any discomfort in his right hamstring, so he'll now shift his focus to build-up, per Bastian. The Cubs announced at the beginning of August that they expect Contreras to miss around four weeks, though it's unclear if he's on track for a return in early September.

Stassi is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Stassi will give way to Anthony Bemboom behind the plate in what looks like a true timeshare at catcher. The two have alternated turns in each of the past six contests.

Trevino is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

With starts in three of the previous four games, Trevino seems to have unseated Jeff Mathis for the top catching role in Texas. Mathis will get the nod in the day game after the night game, however, catching for Lance Lynn.

Garver is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Garver will give way to Jason Castro after drawing six of the past seven starts at catcher. The 28-year-old is batting only .175 thus far in August but has kept his fantasy value afloat by homering three times, driving in seven and scoring six runs.

Kyle Farmer will check in behind the dish in what amounts to a maintenance day for Barnhart, who caught each of the Reds' previous four games.

Leon will start at catcher and bat eighth Sunday against the Orioles, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Leon will crack the lineup for just the second time in seven games while top backstop Christian Vazquez shifts over to first base. Vazquez has shined both at the plate and behind the dish this season, so Leon isn't expected to see his workload pick up over the final few weeks, especially with the Red Sox trying to chase down a wild-card spot.
