D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

D'Arnaud looks to be receiving some routine maintenance for the series opener in Washington after he caught all 11 innings of Sunday's 8-7 win over the Phillies. William Contreras will spell d'Arnaud behind the dish Monday.

Kirk went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Rays.

The solo shot brought Kirk's RBI total to 62 on the season, good for fifth among all players who qualify at catcher. The 23-year-old backstop will be serving as Toronto's designated hitter in Monday's series opener with the Yankees, batting cleanup against New York right-hander Luis Severino.

Collins will start at first base and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Reds.

Since his Sept. 13 call-up from Triple-A Indianapolis, Collins has settled into a strong-side platoon role at first base for the Pirates. The results haven't been particularly encouraging, however; Collins is off to a 1-for-19 start to his time in Pittsburgh.

Delay is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds.

Delay will get a breather for the series opener after he went hitless in six at-bats while he was behind the plate for both of the Bucs' final two games with the Cubs over the weekend. Jose Godoy will replace Delay as the Pirates' starting catcher Monday.

The Pirates selected Godoy's contract from Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday.

Godoy will likely step in as the Pirates' No. 2 catcher behind Jason Delay while Tyler Heineman (concussion) resides on the 7-day injured list. The 27-year-old is hitless in 10 big-league at-bats this season but has impressed with a .947 OPS in Indianapolis, albeit in just 42 plate appearances. Godoy will start at catcher and bat ninth in Monday's series opener with the Reds while Delay rests.

McGuire will start at catcher and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Orioles, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

McGuire will be behind the plate for the third time in four games after going 8-for-21 with three home runs and a double across his seven appearances (five starts). He appears to have at least temporarily supplanted the slumping Connor Wong as the Red Sox's preferred option at catcher.

Wong is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Wong will take a seat for the third time in four games and may be the Red Sox's No. 2 catcher behind Reese McGuire at this point. Upon joining Boston as a Sept. 1 call-up from Triple-A Worcester, Wong went 3-for-12 with two extra-base hits and three walks in his first six games with Boston, but he's since slashed .200/.200/.267 with a 62.5 percent strikeout rate over his subsequent 10 contests.

Diaz went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI on Sunday against the Padres.

Diaz tallied his 15th double before coming around to score in the first inning, and he also chipped in an RBI single in the eighth frame. It was his first multi-hit performance since Sept. 9, a span of seven starts during which he hit only .138. Diaz is now hitting .234/.289/.383 line across 357 plate appearances on the season.

Langeliers went 1-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Mets on Sunday, his third straight game with a two-bagger.

The rookie filled in at DH on Sunday and continued to put good wood on the ball after also belting doubles Thursday and Saturday. Langeliers' .211/.233/.386 slash line over his first 120 big-league plate appearances leaves plenty to be desired, but he's now laced 13 of his 24 hits for extra bases.

Vazquez went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over Baltimore.

Vazquez doubled and scored in the third inning before knocking a two-run single in the 11th. It was his second multi-hit game of the month and he's now hitting .143 with three RBI through 12 September appearances. On the year, Vazquez is slashing .274/.316/.394 with 50 RBI and 30 extra-base hits through 113 games.
