Vazquez went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over Baltimore.

Vazquez doubled and scored in the third inning before knocking a two-run single in the 11th. It was his second multi-hit game of the month and he's now hitting .143 with three RBI through 12 September appearances. On the year, Vazquez is slashing .274/.316/.394 with 50 RBI and 30 extra-base hits through 113 games.

Raleigh was removed from Sunday's loss to the Royals after aggravating his thumb injury while catching, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Raleigh recently missed four games due to his thumb injury, and the thumb was hit while catching in the bottom of the sixth inning. Manager Scott Servais said that the catcher was OK during strength tests on the field and wanted to stay in, but the team ultimately replaced him in the top of the seventh inning. He should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Rangers.

Bart is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Arizona.

Smith's .257 average across 19 September contests represents one of his lowest marks of any month this season, but his .529 slugging is his second-best thanks to half of his 18 hits going for extra bases.

Gomes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Gomes is hitless with six strikeouts in his past 16 at-bats and will take a seat Sunday for the second time in the past three games. P.J. Higgins will start behind the plate and bat seventh in the series finale at Pittsburgh.
