Carson Kelly C | CHC
Cubs' Carson Kelly: Knocks 12th homer
Kelly went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run during Saturday's 5-2 win over the Yankees.
Kelly continued his great first half Saturday, reaching in three out of four plate appearances and clubbing his 12th home run of the season. With one game to go before the All-Star break, the 30-year-old Kelly is slashing .272/.374/.518 with 12 home runs and 33 RBI, putting him on pace for a career-best campaign in all those categories. He's also off to a strong start in July with a 1.180 OPS in seven games.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Sitting out Saturday
Stephenson is not in Saturday's lineup against the Rockies.

Drake Baldwin C | ATL
Braves' Drake Baldwin: Sitting Saturday
Baldwin isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against St. Louis.

Riley Adams C | WAS
Nationals' Riley Adams: Belts fourth homer
Adams went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's loss to the Brewers.
Getting another start behind the plate and batting ninth, Adams led off the seventh inning by lofting a Quinn Priester slider over the left-field fence for his fourth homer of the year. Adams has started four of five games since Keibert Ruiz (concussion) was placed on the IL, going 3-for-15 with five strikeouts, and his fantasy upside remains limited even with the extra playing time.

William Contreras C | MIL
Brewers' William Contreras: Rips two doubles Friday
Contreras 2-for-4 with two RBI, two doubles and a run scored in Friday's 8-3 win over Washington.
It's been a disappointing first half overall for Contreras -- his .348 slugging percentage in 2025 is well short of his .446 mark for his career -- but he's at least fared better in a small sample lately. Across his last seven outings, the star backstop is hitting .310 (9-for-29) with three RBI, four extra-base hits and four runs scored. That said, Contreras has just two outings with multiple extra-base knocks this year, and he hasn't gone deep since June 14.
-
Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Posts sixth career multi-homer game
Murphy went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 6-5 win over the Cardinals.
It was the sixth career multi-homer effort by Murphy, who is beginning to make a case for more playing time behind the plate with a recent power surge. The veteran backstop's slugging percentage stood at .423 as of June 26, but he's since raised that figure to .513 for the season. Over his last 10 outings, Murphy is hitting .314 (11-for-35) with six long balls, three doubles and 13 RBI.
-
Martin Maldonado C | SD
Padres' Martin Maldonado: Resting Friday
Maldonado is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies.
Maldonado has not caught more than two games in a row this season, and after catching back-to-back games, Maldonado will yield to Elias Diaz behind the plate Friday. Maldonado has four home runs and a .512 OPS in 138 plate appearances during 2025.

Drake Baldwin C | ATL
Braves' Drake Baldwin: Not starting Thursday
Baldwin isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Athletics.
