Travis d'Arnaud C | LAA
Braves' Travis d'Arnaud: Three doubles in comeback win
D'Arnaud went 3-for-5 with three doubles and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-6 win over the Pirates.
His third two-bagger of the night was the biggest, as d'Arnaud ripped a curveball from Pittsburgh closer David Bednar into left field to kick-start a three-run rally for Atlanta that erased a 6-5 deficit. The veteran catcher had been scuffling at the plate lately, and even after Tuesday's performance he's batting just .220 (11-for-50) since the beginning of July, but eight of those 11 hits -- five doubles and three homers -- have gone for extra bases and he's racked up 10 RBI.

Keibert Ruiz C | WAS
Nationals' Keibert Ruiz: Swats 12th homer
Ruiz went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Phillies.
After socking a solo shot off Zack Wheeler in the second inning of the matinee, Ruiz was back behind the plate for the nightcap, finishing 0-for-5 with two strikeouts. The switch-hitting catcher snapped a 16-game homer drought with the long ball, but since the All-Star break he's slashing an impressive .316/.369/.500 over 84 plate appearances with three of his 12 home runs on the season.

Endy Rodriguez C | PIT
Pirates' Endy Rodriguez: Sitting Tuesday
Rodriguez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.
Rodriguez hit his second career homer Sunday as part of his first career three-hit game, and he followed up with a double and a run scored in Monday's contest. The 23-year-old will get a day to rest his legs as Jason Delay takes over behind the plate to catch for starter Mitch Keller.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: On bench Tuesday
Murphy is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.
The timeshare behind the plate continues in Atlanta, with Marcell Ozuna holding down the everyday job at DH. Murphy will sit for the second time in three games as Travis d'Arnaud steps in at catcher. Murphy is slashing just .135/.262/.212 with one home run in 14 games since the All-Star break.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: On bench amid slump
Stephenson is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins.
Luke Maile will start at catcher and bat ninth versus the Marlins and left-hander Braxton Garrett. Stephenson has slashed just .192/.263/.269 in 57 plate appearances since the All-Star break and carries a disappointing .687 OPS on the year.

Giants' Patrick Bailey: Delivers go-ahead knock
Bailey went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, three RBI and a run scored in Monday's 8-3 win over the Angels.
Bailey opened the scoring with an RBI single in the fourth inning and added a two-run double in the ninth to put the Giants ahead for good. This was his fourth multi-hit effort in his last seven games, a span in which he's gone 7-for-21 (.333). The rookie catcher continues to impress defensively while holding his own with a .262/.307/.414 slash line, five home runs, 35 RBI, 19 runs scored, 15 doubles and a stolen base through 61 contests this season.
