Goodman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's victory over the Astros.

Goodman deposited a Hunter Brown sinker into the Crawford Boxes for a two-run homer in the third inning. The catcher's power has been a constant this season, as he's produced an .847 OPS with 23 doubles, four triples, 26 homers and 75 RBI across 116 games. Even with Colorado's season going poorly, the 25-year-old has consistently provided a spark offensively.

Contreras went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-8 win over Arizona.

The homer was Contreras' seventh of the month and his 15th of the year. The catcher's .763 OPS for the year may be slightly disappointing based on his high expectations entering the season, but he's been rolling for the past month or so. Over his last 130 plate appearances, Contreras is slashing .321/.415/.616 with nine long balls, six doubles and 23 RBI.

Moreno went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-8 loss to Milwaukee.

Moreno smashed his seventh homer of the year and his first since coming off the injured list due to a fractured finger. The 25-year-old backstop is primed to serve as Arizona's top catcher to finish out the campaign, and he's slashing a respectable .279/.332/.447 with nine doubles, one triple, 27 RBI, 33 runs scored and one stolen base over 205 trips to the plate.

Baldwin isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Although he's collected a base hit in each of his last four games and six of his last seven, Baldwin will ride the bench Tuesday while he continues to share duties behind the plate with Sean Murphy, who will bat seventh against Sandy Alcantara.

Pages is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Pirates.

It's a regular day off for Pages, who had started at catcher in each of the Cardinals' previous two contests. Yohel Pozo will be behind the dish and bat ninth Tuesday.

Alvarez (thumb) will begin a rehab assignment Wednesday, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Alvarez took batting practice on the field Tuesday and insisted afterward that he feels no pain in his right thumb despite being diagnosed with a UCL sprain. He will be eligible for activation from the 10-day injured list Thursday, but the Mets could wait until rosters expand Sept. 1 to return their starting catcher to the active roster.

Stephenson (thumb) played catch and blocked softer baseballs Monday in a test of the thumb guard fitted for his catcher's mitt, MLB.com reports.

Stephenson was encouraged by the activity and is scheduled to take batting practice Friday. The Reds remain in the mix for a wild-card spot, so if Stephenson is deemed capable of playing through a left thumb fracture, he'll likely return from the 10-day injured list in early September.

Baldwin went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 2-1 loss to Miami.

The rookie catcher has now logged at least one hit in eight of his last 10 outings, and he crushed his 14th homer of the year. With Sean Murphy falling out of manager Brian Snitker's favor in 2025, Baldwin has capitalized on the opportunity as Atlanta's primary backstop. Baldwin is slashing a promising .278/.343/.458 with 12 doubles, 36 runs scored and 58 RBI over 329 trips to the plate.

Torrens went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and five RBI in Monday's 13-3 win over the Phillies.

The veteran catcher put together one of the best games of his career, tying his career high with five RBI. Torrens lined an RBI double in the sixth, then launched a three-run homer off Jordan Romano in the seventh to blow the game open before adding a run-scoring single in the eighth. Remarkably, the five RBI matched his total from his previous 53 games this season combined, a stretch in which he batted just .194.

Amaya (ankle) has started running on a treadmill but is "still weeks away" from a return, manager Craig Counsell said, per MLB.com.

Amaya was carted off the field after stepping awkwardly on first base and spraining his ankle during a game on Aug. 13. It was a tough break for the catcher, who was making his first appearance for the Cubs since May 24 after recovering from an oblique injury. Amaya may be able to help Chicago late in the season and in the playoffs, though fantasy managers shouldn't expect much more from the 26-year-old in 2025.
