Pages is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Pages will get a breather after he started at catcher in both of the Cardinals' previous two contests. Ivan Herrera will check in behind the dish and form a battery with starting pitcher Sonny Gray.

Realmuto is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Bailey is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Ruiz is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Mets, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Ruiz will get a routine day off after starting in each of the last four games. Drew Millas will handle catching duties for Washington in the series finale.

The Diamondbacks outrighted Knizner to Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.

Knizner cleared waivers after being removed from the 40-man roster over the weekend, but he will remain in the organization for the time being. The veteran catcher is a career .210/.279/.317 hitter over parts of six major-league seasons.

Moreno isn't in Arizona's lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.

Moreno went 2-for-3 during his first start back from the injured list Monday, and he'll take a seat Tuesday as the D-backs ease him back into regular playing time. While he rests, Jose Herrera will catch for Jordan Montgomery and bat ninth.

Smith is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest in Miami.
