Trevino went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.

Trevino ripped a single in the top of the second inning before he later launched a solo homer off Glenn Otto in the fourth frame. The home run was his 11th of the year and first since Aug. 2. The catcher has struggled to .177 average with three extra-base hits, six RBI and two runs over 62 at-bats in 21 games since the beginning of September. He'll finish the regular season with a .248 average, 11 home runs, 43 RBI, 39 runs and two stolen bases over 335 at-bats in 115 games with the Yankees.

Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the White Sox.

Sanchez got things started for the Twins in the top of the first inning with a three-run blast to put Minnesota on the board. He then hit an RBI double in the second inning to put his squad up 7-0. The big day comes as he was 0-for-20 with eight strikeouts in his last five games, inching his batting average towards the dreaded Mendoza line. On the season, he finishes with a .205/.282/.377 line with 16 home runs over 128 games.

Rutschman isn't starting the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Rutschman started behind the plate during Wednesday's matinee and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. He'll get a breather for the nightcap while Robinson Chirinos starts at catcher and bats ninth.

Kirk is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Orioles.

Kirk will end up getting the full day off after he was on the bench for the Blue Jays' 5-4 loss in Game 1 of the twin bill. Danny Jansen will get a turn behind the plate while Teoscar Hernandez serves as Toronto's designated hitter.

Casali went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during a win over the Tigers in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday.

Casali made some noise out of the bottom of the order, slugging his fifth homer of the season off Eduardo Rodriguez in the third inning and mustering his first multi-hit effort since June 24. It remains to be seen if Casali will be included on the Mariners' wild-card roster as a reserve backstop behind Cal Raleigh, and it's conceivable manager Scott Servais could find room for both him and Luis Torrens given either could also fill in at DH.

Raleigh is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Raleigh will take a seat after he went 3-for-5 with a solo home run while serving as the Mariners' designated hitter in a 9-6 win in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader. Curt Casali will get a turn behind the dish Wednesday, while Carlos Santana reprises his usual duties at DH.

Hedges isn't starting Wednesday against the Royals.

Hedges started the last three games and went 0-for-7 with two walks and two strikeouts. Luke Maile will take over behind the dish and bat eighth.

Perez (thumb) isn't starting Wednesday against the Guardians.

Perez continues to deal with a minor thumb issue, and he'll remain on the bench for a fourth consecutive game to close out the season. It seems unlikely that the issue will significantly impact his offseason program.

Grandal isn't starting Wednesday against the Twins, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Grandal went 1-for-4 with a run Tuesday against Minnesota and will head to the bench for the fourth time in the last six games. Carlos Perez will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Thaiss is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The lefty-hitting Thaiss will take a seat for the second day in a row with southpaw Ken Waldichuk taking the mound for the Athletics. Matt Duffy will spell Thaiss at first base.
