Wong is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

The Red Sox are playing a day game Wednesday after losing to Atlanta on Tuesday night, so Wong will be getting a maintenance day. Reese McGuire will pick up the start at catcher while Wong rests.

Lee went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Cubs.

Lee delivered a timely two-RBI double in the fourth inning and came around to score in the same frame. It was only his third performance of the season with multiple runs driven in and his first since May 4. Lee has now started six consecutive games, four of which have come at catcher and two at designated hitter.

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Cardinals.

Diaz's third-inning blast gave the Astros a 6-1 lead, which was ultimately enough for the win. The catcher sat out the first two games of June, and he's responded with homers in back-to-back contests after going 39 contests without a long ball. He's up to five homers, 28 RBI, 20 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .249/.277/.383 slash line through 213 plate appearances this season. With his bat coming around, Diaz should be able to maintain a starting role at catcher over Victor Caratini.

Raleigh is not in the Mariners' lineup Tuesday versus the Athletics.

Raleigh had a three-game hit streak but will begin Tuesday's matchup from the bench. In his place, Mitch Garver starts behind the plate and Mitch Haniger is the DH.

Wells is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Minnesota.

Wells won't start Tuesday's game despite the Twins trotting out a right-handed pitcher. Instead, Jose Trevino will catch and bat eighth.

Jeffers is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Yankees.

It looks to be a routine day off for Jeffers, who is just two off his career high with 12 home runs this season. Christian Vazquez will do the catching for Bailey Ober on Tuesday.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Kansas City.

For the first time since May 19, Naylor won't be part of Cleveland's lineup against a right-handed pitcher Tuesday, marking the catcher's fourth absence in the last five games. With David Fry swinging one of the best bats in baseball and Naylor batting .164 in May , Naylor could bleed more playing time if he doesn't turn it around at the plate.

Rogers went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in Monday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.

Rogers had half of Detroit's hits and provided all of the team's offense in the narrow win. The catcher is now up to four home runs across 38 games this season, and this was his first multi-homer effort. He has some work to do to match the career-high 21 long balls he recorded in 2023, though as he displayed Monday, he can rack up home runs quickly when he's dialed in at the plate.

Kelly is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Kelly will get a break after he started at catcher in four of the Tigers' previous five games, including Sunday's 8-4 win over the Red Sox. Jake Rogers will step in behind the plate Monday, forming a battery with starting pitcher Tarik Skubal.

Caratini went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Twins.

Caratini drew consecutive starts behind the plate for the first time this season and has now started three of Houston's last four games. He has only two hits in that span, though both have left the yard. It's unlikely that Caratini's playing time outlook will change in the long term, though Yainer Diaz hit just .200/.213/.259 across 88 plate appearances in May.
