Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Rare day off Wednesday
Devers is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Rays, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
Devers has been scuffling lately with just two hits over his last 21 at-bats, so he'll receive a rare day off to clear his head. Bobby Dalbec is getting a start at third base for Boston on Wednesday.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Provides offense with 28th homer
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.
The 22-year-old further bolstered his campaign for AL Rookie of the Year, taking Josiah Gray deep for a leadoff solo homer that turned out to be the difference in Tuesday's 1-0 victory. After Henderson endured a somewhat slow start to his first full season, he has posted a slugging percentage of .500 or better in each of the final four months, resulting in a season-long slash line of .260/.329/.498 with 28 doubles, nine triples, 28 home runs, 82 RBI, 99 runs scored, 10 steals and a 155:55 strikeout-to-walk ratio across 607 plate appearances. His hard-hit rate of 52.0 percent ranks as the 14th-highest in the majors this year, sandwiching the rookie between Yordan Alvarez and Mike Trout in the category. It's safe to say Henderson will be a fixture in the heart of Baltimore's potent offense for years to come.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Giants' J.D. Davis: Suffers shoulder strain
Davis exited Tuesday's game against San Diego with a strained left shoulder, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Davis' injury came on an awkward slide into third base after he hit a line drive into right field during the first inning. The Giants haven't provided any information that could help determine how long Davis' absence will be, but a trip to the injured list is possible and would put an early end to the 30-year-old's season. If Davis does end up missing an extended period of time, Tyler Fitzgerald would likely see an increase in reps at third base with Wilmer Flores (knee) also rehabbing an injury.
