Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Four consecutive multi-hit games
Hayes went 2-for-5 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Marlins.
Hayes has hit third in all four of Pittsburgh's games and has tallied two hits in each contest. While he hasn't homered, he has a pair of doubles as well as four RBI and four runs scored. Hayes has also shown impressive plate discipline, striking out just twice while walking four times across 23 plate appearances.

Jared Triolo 3B | PIT
Pirates' Jared Triolo: On base four times
Triolo went 2-for-3 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base Sunday against the Marlins.
Triolo won the second base job out of spring training and has started all four of Pittsburgh's games to this point. He has two multi-hit efforts in that span while also drawing three walks. Triolo also notched his first stolen base of the campaign after swiping 16 total bags between Triple-A Indianapolis and the majors in 2023.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Drills first homer
Muncy went 2-for-2 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
Muncy knocked a pinch-hit single in the sixth inning before hammering the go-ahead shot in the eighth. The veteran third baseman has struck out 10 times in six games but still owns an impressive .348/.385/.522 slash line to begin the year. Muncy should continue getting near-daily playing time but will sit occasionally when the Dodgers face a lefty.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Suffers quad injury
Caminero suffered a left quadriceps injury Sunday in Triple-A Durham's game against Norfolk, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Prior to exiting the contest, Caminero went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a single, a walk and two runs scored. He pulled up lame running to first base before having to be helped off the field. The Rays' top prospect is expected to undergo further evaluation Monday, and his status moving forward will be worth monitoring. Any time Caminero might have to spend on Durham's 7-day injured list would obviously delay any potential promotion to the majors.

Tyler Nevin 3B | ATH
Athletics' Tyler Nevin: Claimed by Oakland
The Athletics claimed Nevin off waivers Sunday.
Nevin was designated for assignment by Baltimore after missing the Opening Day roster and will now receive an opportunity in Oakland. The 26-year-old spent last season with the Tigers and posted a .200/.306/.316 slash line in 41 games. Nevin has no minor-league options remaining and will join the Athletics' 26-man active roster.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Steps out of lineup
Muncy is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Muncy is 6-for-21 with at least one hit in each of the first five games of the season, but he has just one extra-base hit and has struck out 10 times. He'll receive his first day off Sunday with lefty Steven Matz pitching for St. Louis.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Remains on bench Sunday
Madrigal is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Texas.
It's the second straight game on the bench for Madrigal after starting at third base Opening Day. Christopher Morel will receive another start at third base while Ian Happ serves as the designated hitter.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Back in action Sunday
Devers (shoulder) will be in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
The 27-year-old sat out the past two days with shoulder soreness but will rejoin the starting nine for Sunday's series finale in Seattle. Devers went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBI on Opening Day before being scratched from Friday's lineup.

Tyler Freeman 3B | COL
Guardians' Tyler Freeman: Getting run in center field
Freeman went 1-for-5 with a walk, one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 12-3 win over the Athletics.
Platoons are emerging in right field and at designated hitter, but the right-handed Freeman has started all three games in center field so far. He's done fairly well, going 3-for-12 with two RBI, two walks, two runs scored and one steal on two attempts. It's not enough to say confidently he'll be the starter in center all season -- the Athletics are a soft season-opening series for a Guardians team trying to figure out its best alignment. Still, it's encouraging Freeman is getting early at-bats, though he's yet to excel in any one area. Should Freeman stumble, Estevan Florial represents a possible platoon partner.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Takes seat Sunday
Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Urias started the first two games of the season but will head to the bench Sunday after going 0-for-7 with a walk, two runs and a strikeout. Jordan Westburg will shift to the hot corner while Jorge Mateo starts at second base.
