Rengifo went 2-for-5 with one RBI and one stolen base in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Athletics.

Rengifo has six multi-hit efforts over his last eight games, a span that includes four extra-base hits and five RBI. The 27-year-old's strong hitting has helped him maintain a starting role at third base this year. He's up to a .319/.362/.448 slash line with six home runs, 22 thefts, 25 RBI and 36 runs scored over 68 contests.

Lewis is set to undergo an MRI and additional testing for the left groin injury he suffered in Tuesday's win over Detroit, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports. "This is out of my control," Lewis said. "So what I can control, I'm very happy about, but this is out of my control. I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you. I'm praying, but it's usually always horrible news. So we'll see."

Lewis suffered the injury after legging out a double in the third inning and played two more innings in the field before departing. It sounds like Lewis may be headed for an injured list stint based on his comments, but more will known after the MRI.

Burger went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday' 8-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Burger hit a solo home run in the fifth inning and added a single in the ninth. The 28-year-old hit .213 in both May and June but does have two multi-hit efforts and two home runs in his past five games. On the season, he is hitting .221 with eight home runs, 28 RBI and 25 runs scored through 259 plate appearances.

Lewis was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Tigers due to left groin tightness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear exactly when Lewis suffered the injury, though it's possible he may have tweaked his groin running out of the batter's box during his last at-bat in the third inning. The Twins are considering him day-to-day, so there's a chance he was simply removed as a precaution given his injury history.

Biggio isn't in the Dodgers' lineup Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks.

Biggio continues to split time at third base with Chris Taylor until Max Muncy (oblique) returns. Biggio has struggled with Los Angeles, batting .188 with a 33.3 percent strikeout rate in 12 games since being acquired from the Blue Jays. Taylor has the start at third Tuesday and is batting eighth.

Ortiz isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Tuesday's game versus Colorado.

Ortiz was held hitless in five at-bats during his return to the lineup Monday after missing the Brewers' last three games due to a neck injury. He'll get a day to regroup Tuesday while Andruw Monasterio starts at the hot corner and bats ninth.

The Athletics recalled Harris from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Since being optioned to Triple-A in late May, Harris has slashed .366/.458/.659 with three homers and nine RBI in 11 games. He'll now get another chance to prove himself in the big leagues after the A's pushed Aledmys Diaz off their 40-man roster Tuesday. Harris started exclusively at third base during his previous stint with Oakland, where he'll now likely have to compete with Tyler Nevin for playing time until Abraham Toro (hamstring) returns from the IL.

Jung (wrist) has not been cleared to swing a bat, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Jung has not swung a bat since his last rehab game on June 20 and admitted Tuesday that his surgically repaired right wrist remains sore. A specialist has confirmed that nothing is structurally wrong with the wrist, but the lingering discomfort is worrisome. There's no timetable for Jung's return.

The Astros recalled Kessinger from Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 in Houston reports.

Kessinger is hitless in 11 at-bats during his time with the big club this season. He will give the Astros some defensive versatility in the infield.

Clement went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Astros.

The 28-year-old utility player wasn't even supposed to be in the starting lineup, but a late scratch for Isiah Kiner-Falefa (knee) inserted Clement at third base, and he wound up taking Josh Hader deep in the ninth inning to spoil a combined shutout bid for Houston. The long ball was his fourth of the season, setting a new career high, and he's slashing .333/.347/.563 in 49 plate appearances since the beginning of June. Should Kiner-Falefa require an IL stint, Clement could see a big uptick in playing time, although Addison Barger would also be in the mix at third base.
