  • Jose Miranda 3B | MIN

    Twins' Jose Miranda: Idle Monday

Miranda is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

Miranda will get the night off Monday against Kyle Hendricks and the Cubs. Royce Lewis will play third base while Matt Wallner operates as the Twins' designated hitter.

  • Brooks Lee SS | MIN

Twins' Brooks Lee: On bench again

Lee is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

Lee started in 24 consecutive games after being called up from Triple-A St. Paul, but he's been out of the starting nine in consecutive games, with both absences coming against righties. Austin Martin will cover second base once again and may have vaulted ahead of Lee on the depth chart while the latter player has slashed .174/.259/.174 over his last seven games.

  • Mark Vientos DH | NYM

    Mets' Mark Vientos: Getting breather

Vientos is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.

After making 12 consecutive starts, Vientos will get the night off Monday. Jose Iglesias will fill in for Vientos at the hot corner and bat sixth.

  • Marlins' Emmanuel Rivera: On base three times Sunday

Rivera went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over Atlanta.

The 28-year-old has started five of the last six games for the Marlins as he gets a chance to lock down the starting job at third base. Rivera has gone 5-for-20 with his first homer and second steal of the season during that stretch, and while his career .662 OPS in the majors over 947 plate appearances doesn't suggest he has much fantasy upside, he is at least a defensive upgrade at the hot corner on Jake Burger

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Goes deep in win

Bohm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Mariners.

Bohm went back-to-back with Bryce Harper during a five-run eighth inning to help the Phillies break away for the win. The home run was his first since July 3 and he now has six RBI over his last four games. Bohm has been one of the one of the most consistent hitters over the course of the season and is currently riding a 22-game on-base streak. For the year, he's slashing .295/.352/.483 with 12 homers, 77 RBI, 50 runs, five steals and a 35:67 BB:K in 466 plate appearances.

  • Royce Lewis 3B | MIN

Twins' Royce Lewis: Goes deep, drives in three

Lewis went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer, three runs scored and a walk in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Lewis belted a three-run shot during the Twins' six-run second inning. It was his 13th home run of the season and third in nine games since returning from the injured list. Lewis owns an impressive .288/.370/.686 slash line with 21 extra-base hits and 28 RBI through 135 plate appearances. He's up to 30 homers in 103 career MLB contests.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Swipes two bags Sunday

Ramirez went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and a run scored in Sunday's 9-5 loss to the Orioles.

Ramirez has gone 11-for-29 (.379) with five home runs, 11 RBI and four steals over his last eight games. He's been held hitless just once in that span. The third baseman continues to do it all for the Guardians -- in addition to his 29 homers and 22 steals, he's slashing .277/.329/.541 with 93 RBI and 84 runs scored over 108 contests. If he continues to run with some regularity, he has a chance to earn the second 30-30 campaign of his career.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Swats solo homer

Jung went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Red Sox.

Jung had two of the Rangers' three hits in the game, including a solo shot off Nick Pivetta in the second inning. This was Jung's first multi-hit effort since returning from right wrist surgery. He's gone 4-for-17 (.235) over five games since his return. For the year, he's batting .324 with three homers, seven RBI, seven runs scored and a stolen base across nine contests, but it looks like he's still finding his timing at the plate after a long absence.

  • Ernie Clement SS | TOR

Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Swipes two bags

Clement went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two stolen bases in Sunday's loss to the Yankees.

Clement got the better of Gerrit Cole and Austin Wells, singling and stealing second base off the duo in each of the first two frames. The 28-year-old swiped his first bag since July 27 and is now 7-for-9 in stolen base tries this season. Clement has appeared in all 16 games for the Blue Jays since the All-Star break, batting .283 with four extra-base hits, three runs scored, eight RBI and three stolen bases in 15 starts.

  • Max Muncy 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Sim game on tap

Muncy (oblique) is scheduled to face live pitching Thursday in a simulated game at Dodger Stadium, MLB.com reports.

Muncy will take part in the sim game along with three of the Dodgers' other rehabbing hitters in Mookie Betts (hand), Tommy Edman (wrist) and Miguel Rojas (forearm). Rojas appears to be the closest of the three to returning from the injured list, while Edman and Betts could be cleared for rehab assignments following Thursday's sim game. Muncy, meanwhile, looks to be further away, given that he's been on the shelf since May 17 with a right oblique strain and had made limited progress in his recovery until recently having a breakthrough when a chiropractor performed a procedure on his body. The Dodgers will wait and see how Muncy comes out of Thursday's sim game before determining his next steps.
