Robinson was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Monday.

It was a short, productive stay in the big leagues for Robinson, who was called up last Friday and went 2-for-4 with a home run Sunday in his lone appearance with the team. Back in Triple-A, he's hit .273 with 11 home runs this season, so a more extensive call-up may be in store down the line.

Robinson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Yankees.

Robinson made his first major-league hit a memorable one, as he connected on one of the Rangers' three home runs off Michael Pineda to help chase the Yankees' starter from the contest after just four innings. Though everyday second baseman Rougned Odor has struggled throughout the season, Robinson doesn't look like he'll have the opportunity to seriously challenge Odor's starting gig; instead, he'll serve mainly as a utility man around the infield.

Candelario will be recalled from Triple-A Iowa ahead of the Cubs' game Monday against the Nationals, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.

With Addison Russell exiting Sunday's game with a shoulder injury, the Cubs could use some infield depth this week. Candelario, a top-five prospect within the organization, is slashing .274/.366/.520 at Triple-A this season.

Chapman (knee) was scheduled for a Sunday release from his multi-day hospital stay, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.

The rookie had been laid up since Thursday due to cellulitis in his left knee, with an antibiotic IV serving as his main course of treatment. Chapman was originally scheduled to leave the hospital on Friday, but the extra time was apparently necessary to adequately treat the infection. Although the 24-year-old's exact return date remains up in the air, the hospital discharge is obviously a key step in the recovery process.

Longoria went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run during Sunday's loss to Baltimore.

It was a huge series against the Orioles for the third baseman, as Longoria hit two homers, drove in eight runs and scored four times. He's posting another solid fantasy campaign with 12 round trippers, 46 RBI and 43 runs, but his .253/.318/.434 slash line certainly isn't turning any heads.

Valencia (wrist) is out of the lineup for the second straight game Sunday.

After getting scratched from Saturday's lineup, Valencia will spend another day on the bench with a scheduled day off coming Monday. In his place, Taylor Motter will once again man first base.

Moustakas is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, 610 Sports Radio Kansas City reports.

Moustakas has started each of the Royals' 21 games in June, so manager Ned Yost has decided to give the slugging third baseman the day off. Cheslor Cuthbert will draw the start in his stead.

Suarez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Hitless in his previous three contests, Suarez will be granted the day off against Tanner Roark and the Nationals. Patrick Kivlehan takes over at third base, batting sixth.

Asuaje started at second and batted second Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a win over the Tigers.

The 25-year-old has started two consecutive games since being recalled from the minors, and he appears to be taking over at the keystone for the Padres while Yangervis Solarte (oblique) recovers on the disabled list. Asuaje didn't offer much power or speed during his 62-game stint with Triple-A El Paso, but if he can carry over his ability to get on base (.369 OBP) to the majors, then there is some potential for run production if he continues to bat second in the lineup.

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo homer Saturday against the Twins.

Ramirez slammed his 12th home run of the season to put the Indians on the board in the fourth inning of a home loss. The fifth-year veteran is enjoying a breakout season, and his .319/.373/.564 slash line is making him an exceptional draft-day value selection.
