Bregman went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double and two RBI on Saturday against the Athletics.

Bregman continues to heat up at the plate. Over his past 10 games, he has recorded six multi-hit games and has raised his batting average from .214 to .267 as a result. Though his counting stats have yet to follow, his increased productivity at the plate bodes well for his numbers moving forward.

Segura went 3-for-4 with a home run, stolen base, four RBI and three runs scored Saturday against the Indians.

Segura was productive across all parts of the box score Saturday, a common occurrence for him throughout the early portion of the season. He has taken advantage of consistently batting second, a beneficial position that should only help his counting stats as the middle of the Mariners' lineup heats up. Though his hot start has not translated to many home runs, his 12 extra-base hits indicate that he is hitting the ball well and is a positive sign for his future production.

Senzel left Saturday's game for Triple-A Louisville with a shoulder injury, John Wagner of the Toledo Blade reports.

Senzel landed awkwardly on his left arm after diving for a ball and rolled in pain. He left the game with a "jammed shoulder" and appears to have avoided structural damage, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic Cincinnati reports. One of the top prospects in baseball, Senzel was perhaps nearing a big-league promotion as the date to secure an extra year of team control has already passed, though there was no indication that a promotion was imminent. It's not yet clear how this injury will affect his timeline.

LeMahieu (hamstring) hopes to avoid a trip to the disabled list, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

His hamstring wasn't as sore as he expected Saturday, but he was nevertheless left out of the starting lineup. He left Friday's game with hamstring tightness, though the issue was reportedly minor. The fact that LeMahieu hopes to avoid the DL seems to support that idea.

Asuaje is not in the lineup Saturday against the Mets.

Asuaje opened the year by starting 21 of the Padres' first 22 games, but he's now sat for three of the last six. Franchy Cordero has earned a near-everyday role in the outfield, pushing Jose Pirela in to second base. Asuaje's .207/.284/.315 line so far this year can't compete with Cordero's .241/.281/.537 (at least in the power department), so expect him to continue to lose time.

LeMahieu (hamstring) is not starting Saturday against the Marlins.

LeMahieu left Friday's game with right hamstring tightness. The issue is reportedly minor, but he'll miss at least one game. Pat Valaika will start at second base in his place Saturday.

Longoria is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

It appears to just be a game off for Longoria, as there has been no indication of any injury issues for the veteran third baseman. There should be no cause for concern unless the 31-year-old is also held out of Game 2 against the Dodgers on Saturday night.

Duffy (hamstring) hit out of the leadoff spot and went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts in a win over the Red Sox on Friday.

The versatile infielder returned to action following his 10-day disabled list stint and hit safely for the fifth straight game in the process. Duffy had gotten off to a solid start at the plate before the injury, a pace he'll look to maintain now that the oft-injured 27-year-old appears to be back to full health.

Candelario will wear a wrist guard when he's on base to protect himself when he slides, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Candelario rested Thursday with a sore left wrist, and the team believes his discomfort could be coming from his sliding technique, in which he puts down his left hand and wrist to brace himself. He returned to the lineup Friday and wore the brace when he reached base in the first inning. Candelario is slashing a strong .281/.355/.531 through 24 games.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Astros.

Chapman opened the scoring against Dallas Keuchel with a home run in the fifth inning. He doubled off Keuchel in his next at-bat, coming around to score on a Matt Olson single. Chapman is now hitting .278 with six home runs and 15 RBI. His 21 runs scored leads all MLB third basemen, and his .932 OPS is good for fourth at the position.
