Segura went 2-for-4 with a triple in a loss to the Padres on Tuesday.

Segura has now churned out multiple hits in seven of his last 10 games, the latest taste of offensive success in another stellar season at the plate. The shortstop looks like a near certainty to finish with a .300 or better average for the third straight season, and he's now just seven RBI away from eclipsing the career-high 64 he compiled in 2016 with the Diamondbacks.

Duffy went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in a loss to the Braves on Tuesday.

Duffy has boosted his season average 10 points to .301 over his current six-game hitting streak, one in which he's generated five multi-hit efforts. While the fact he's only belted out a pair of extra-base hits (two doubles) during August has his monthly slugging percentage at a modest .310, Duffy's .364 on-base percentage over the same stretch exemplifies the quality of his work at the plate. The 27-year-old has now hit double-digit steals for the second time in his career, and he's just three away from eclipsing the career-high 12 he swiped during the 2015 campaign in San Francisco.

Hayes has gone 4-for-18 (all singles) with two walks, five strikeouts and a stolen base in five games with Double-A Altoona since returning from a shoulder injury.

The 21-year-old suffered a left shoulder contusion Aug. 19 and missed several days as a result, but by all accounts he's healthy now. Hayes will look to finish strong in Altoona's final six games after slashing .278/.360/.429 with seven homers and 10 steals in his first 112 games with the affiliate. The Pirates figure to promote Hayes to Triple-A Indianapolis early on in 2019 and it seems likely -- considering Hayes' path to date -- that they will keep him there for the majority of the season.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a sacrifice fly and four RBI in Tuesday's win over the Rangers.

Machado was trouble for Rangers pitching throughout the game. He opened the scoring with a two-RBI single in the third inning, added a sacrifice fly in the fourth and stretched the lead to five with another RBI single in the sixth. Machado has hit a solid .272/.349/.469 with seven homers and five steals since joining the Dodgers. His 119 wRC+ with his new team is down from the 154 wRC+ he posted in the first part of the season in Baltimore but is right in line with his career figure (120).

Rendon went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win over at Philadelphia.

Rendon's two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning gave the Nationals a 4-3 lead as they came back to beat the Phillies. The 28-year-old is slashing .299/.358/.504 with 17 home runs and 64 RBI in 415 at-bats this season.

Candelario went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Royals.

Candelario now has hits in nine of his last 10 games, though he's recorded multiple hits in a game just once in the stretch, which explains his modest .250 batting average during the span. The rebuilding Tigers figure to keep using the 24-year-old in a leadoff role the rest of the season, which gives Candelario a little bit of fantasy value if he can keep stringing together hits.

Asuaje was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.

Asuaje was up for just five days this time around and did not receive a start. He'll be replaced on the roster by Luis Urias, who was called up in a corresponding move. Asuaje will likely return to San Diego when rosters expand in September.

Madrigal (thumb) went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and a run scored for High-A Winston Salem on Monday.

Madrigal looked sharp in his return to action after missing three games with a bruised thumb. The first-round selection is hitting .269/.333/.299 with eight RBI and four stolen bases in 19 games since earning a promotion to High-A at the beginning of the month.

Wisdom was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.

Wisdom is up to replace the injured Kolten Wong (hamstring), though he's exclusively a corner infielder, so Wisdom isn't a direct replacement for Wong at second base. The 27-year-old went 4-for-12 in his first taste of big-league action earlier in the month and has hit a solid .288/.363/.480 with 15 homers and 11 steals for Memphis this season.

LeMahieu went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and two runs Monday in the Rockies' 10-7 loss to the Angels.

LeMahieu's eighth-inning grand slam was the first of his career and his 12th homer of the season, establishing a new career high in the category. The 30-year-old appeared poised for an even bigger breakout on the power front after tallying five long balls and five doubles through his first 17 games, but his slugging production has tapered off since mid-April. Fortunately for LeMahieu's fantasy owners, he's continued to provide the elite contact skills that have long been his calling card, though his .283 average might qualify as a minor letdown after three straight seasons above the .300 mark.
