LeMahieu underwent an MRI on his right knee Monday which revealed nothing worse than inflammation.

LeMahieu was diagnosed with inflammation after leaving Sunday's game against the Giants, but he evidently escaped a more severe injury. He's considered day-to-day.

Manager Dave Martinez said Rendon underwent an MRI on his elbow Sunday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

The MRI came back clean, confirming Rendon is simply dealing with a bruised elbow. Still, Martinez noted that a trip to the injured list could still be necessary if the third baseman -- who is out of the lineup Monday for the seventh time in eight games -- isn't ready to rejoin the lineup in the coming days.

Manager Don Mattingly admitted Sunday that Anderson will be used in right field for the foreseeable future, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. "Right field turned into kind of a mess," Mattingly said. "[Anderson] kind of solidified that."

Anderson essentially split time between third base and right field in 2018, logging 64 starts at the former position and 89 at the latter. He was expected to settle in primarily at the hot corner this season, but a long-term calf injury to Opening Day right fielder Garrett Cooper coupled with underwhelming runs at the position from Peter O'Brien, Austin Dean and Rosell Herrera has paved the way for Anderson to see more work in the outfield. With 19 starts at third and eight in right field already under his belt, Anderson looks poised to maintain dual eligibility heading into 2020.

Rendon (elbow) is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.

Rendon is set to miss a third straight game -- and his seventh in the last eight contests -- as he continues to nurse a bruised elbow. The issue has reportedly swollen up over the past two days, making a trip to the injured list possible if he doesn't show improvement in the coming days. Howie Kendrick is starting at third base and hitting cleanup in place of Rendon on Monday.

Kieboom went 2-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's extra-innings win over the Padres.

Over a span of three innings, Juan Soto, Victor Robles and Kieboom -- all 21 years old or younger -- went yard for the Nats, offering opponents a glimpse at what they could be dealing with well into the next decade. Kieboom's now slugged two homers in his first three big-league games, but he's also struck out five times in 12 at-bats. He'll get regular playing time at shortstop until Trea Turner (finger) is back, but if the youngster is still producing at that time, he could stick around at second base, his likely long-term home on the Washington infield.

Escobar went 2-for-6 with two home runs, three RBI and a walk in Sunday's extra-innings loss to the Cubs.

Escobar's second homer, a two-run shot in the sixth, notched things up at 3-3. That score would stick until the 15th frame. The 30-year-old infielder got off to a slow start but has four multi-hit performances in his last six games, knocking six extra-base knocks in that span.

Moustakas went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's loss to the Mets.

Moustakas accounted for Milwaukee's entire offense on the day, as he clubbed a two-run homer to right field in the seventh to tie the game, 2-2. Despite dealing with a broken finger on his right hand, the 30-year-old has recorded two base hits in each of his past three contests, driving in five runs over that stretch.

Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, two walks and two runs scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Donaldson came up with the game's biggest hit and put the Braves ahead by a run in the eighth inning with a three-run blast to right field. The 33-year-old continues to hit the ball well in 2019, slashing .263/.391/.505 with five homers and 13 RBI over 27 games.

Urshela's X-rays on his left hand came back negative, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Urshela was hit by a pitch on his left hand and wrist area, but he managed to avoid a fracture. With the Yankees taking advantage of an off day Monday, Urshela could be right back in the mix for Tuesday's matchup with Arizona.

Devers made an error that led to two unearned runs in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Rays.

Devers has made improvements at the plate, laying off pitches outside zone and walking more than last season, but his defense remains an issue. He's made eight errors in 28 games after being charged with 24 all of last season. Manager Alex Cora commented on the issue after Sunday's game. "We see the great plays and then that happens," the skipper told Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald. "Honestly, as a manager, as a defensive player, I'd rather him make the routine plays rather than the five-star plays. That's a mark of consistency. We're going to keep working on it." Cora is wary of giving away outs and extending pitch counts, which affects starters' ability to get deep into games. There's no indication that Devers will be replaced as the everyday starter at third base, but with Eduardo Nunez (back) beginning a rehab assignment this week and Michael Chavis looking like he belongs in MLB, Devers' playing time might get squeezed.
