Bregman went 3-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored Saturday against the Angels.

Bregman popped a solo home run in the first inning off Trevor Cahill and followed that with a three-run shot in the eighth inning against Chris Stratton. He now has eight home runs, four of which have come in his last four games. After a relatively slow start to the season, he now has a .275/.400/.541 line across 135 plate appearances.

Longoria was scratched from the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds with left shoulder soreness, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Longoria is reportedly available off the bench, so his absence is unlikely to be a particularly long one. Pablo Sandoval returns from knee inflammation to start at third base.

Newman (finger) was reinstated from the injured list Saturday.

Newman had been out since April 11 with a lacerated middle finger. He'll likely fill a utility role now that he's back on the field, with Cole Tucker expected to continue getting regular at-bats at shortstop. Pablo Reyes was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move.

Asche signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox on Friday.

Boston's infield depth at Triple-A has been depleted by injuries, so Asche will provide some short-term help. Chad De La Guerra was placed on the injured list as a corresponding move.

LeMahieu (knee) is starting at second base and leading off Saturday against the Twins.

He had been sidelined for almost a week with a minor knee injury but returns atop a lineup that gets another boost with the return of Miguel Andujar (shoulder) in this contest. With Troy Tulowitzki (calf) on the injured list, LeMahieu should be an everyday player for the Yankees for the foreseeable future.

Donaldson went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Friday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Donaldson showed no signs of rust in his return to the lineup following a three-game absence due to calf soreness. The veteran infielder poked an RBI single to right field in the third inning and added another single in the fifth frame before driving in two more runs in the seventh inning with his ninth double of the season. Friday's three-hit effort -- Donaldson's second of the season -- raised his average to .275, the highest it's been all year.

Longoria set a new season high with three hits, but none was bigger than the solo shot he hit in the top of the 11th inning that put the Giants up for good after trailing 8-0 earlier in the contest. The 33-year-old now has five homers on the year, tying him with Brandon Belt for the team lead, although his on-base percentage (.263) and slugging percentage (.402) pale in comparison to his fellow corner infielder. Longoria's shortcomings outside of modest power limit his value to deep and NL-only formats.

Devers went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and two runs in Boston's 6-1 victory over the White Sox on Friday.

Devers finally got his first long ball of the year with a first-inning blast off Reynaldo Lopez. He's had his share of defensive concerns recently, but the 22-year-old is off to a solid start at the dish aside from the lack of power, as he's now hitting .298 with an excellent .382 on-base percentage over 114 at-bats.

Duffy (hamstring) went 0-for-3 in High-A Charlotte's win over Jupiter on Friday, the first game of his rehab assignment.

Duffy started at third base and hit second, and he came out of the game without setbacks. Jeff Seidel of MLB.com reports Duffy will man the hot corner during his rehab but might be moved around depending on how he progresses. "We'll just kind of take it day to day and see what we're hearing from him when he tests out his hamstring, his back, all those things," manager Kevin Cash said. "He'll play some third, [and] the thought in spring training [was] to get him out in the outfield. We'll try to at least get this first week or so at third base and then see how he's responding."

Segura went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and an additional run scored in Friday's 4-2 win over the Nationals.

Segura put the Phillies up 1-0 with his first-inning homer off Jeremy Hellickson, his second long ball of the season. The shortstop added a single in the sixth inning, marking his second consecutive multi-hit game and raising his average to a healthy .345 on the season.
