Moustakas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.

The platoon edge isn't in Moustakas' favor with lefty Jason Vargas on the hill for the Mets, but the veteran slugger's absence from the lineup probably has more to do with him playing all 18 innings in Saturday's 4-3 win. With Moustakas getting a much-needed day off, Hernan Perez will pick up a start at the keystone.

Chapman went 2-for-4 a double, a triple and two runs in a loss to the Pirates on Saturday.

Chapman is knocking the cover off the ball thus far in May, as he's now ripped five extra-base hits (three doubles, one triple, one home run) in his first three games of the month. The 26-year-old third baseman is 7-for-14 during that stretch, pushing his season line to a stellar .306/.393/.621 (145 plate appearances).

Senzel went 1-for-3 with a walk and his first major-league homer in Saturday's win over the Giants.

Senzel should have had two homers, but for Kevin Pillar's highlight-reel catch. With Scott Schebler demoted and Matt Kemp released, the Reds have cleared the path for him to play every day in center field.

Donaldson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

The Braves withheld Donaldson from the starting nine for three straight games due to a calf injury before he returned to action at third base for the first two contests of the weekend. Donaldson went 3-for-11 with a double and three RBI between the two games and isn't believed to have suffered any setbacks with the calf, so he may just be getting some maintenance for the day game after the night game. Johan Camargo will fill in for Donaldson at the hot corner.

Newman entered Saturday's game as a pinch runner and later hit a two-run triple in a 6-4 win over Oakland.

The action was his first since returning from a laceration on his finger. Newman is expected to serve as a backup at both second base and shortstop while also filling in as a fifth outfielder. The 25-year-old has four hits in 12 at-bats for Pittsburgh and batted .233 in 30 Triple-A at-bats in 2019.

Duffy, who had a scheduled day off Saturday in his rehab assignment with High-A Charlotte, came out of Friday's game without setbacks, Jeff Seidel of MLB.com reports. "Good day, three at-bats," manager Kevin Cash said. "Got down the line fine. Two defensive plays at third base [and] looked good. [He] came in today, felt very good."

Duffy will suit up again Sunday, although whether he'll once again man third base or fill the designated hitter role is yet to be decided. The rehabbing infielder is slated for multiple games with the Stone Crabs before being evaluated for possible activation.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in a 9-2 victory over the Giants on Saturday.

The 27-year-old hasn't posted a multi-hit game since April 25, but he does have three home runs during that stretch. That's a good summary of Suarez's season. He is hitting .221, but 13 of his 25 hits have gone for extra bases. Suarez also has eight home runs, 19 RBI and 12 runs in 113 at-bats this year.

Muncy went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and a walk in Saturday's 7-6 win over San Diego.

Muncy gave his team a sixth-inning lead with his three-run shot off reliever Brad Wieck. It was his sixth long ball of the year alongside 21 RBI and a pedestrian .243 average.

Machado went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Saturday's 7-6 loss to the Dodgers.

Machado drilled a pair of solo shots off Dodgers starter Rich Hill. With his first multi-homer game of 2019, he has four long balls in four games this month, giving him eight on the year. The 26-year-old is still batting just .244 across 123 at-bats.

Candelario went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in a 15-3 loss to the Royals on Saturday.

Saturday's game proved to be a lost cause for the Tigers, but Candelario was finally able to hit his first home run of the season. The 25-year-old is slashing .234/.336/.393 and has 15 runs scored and seven RBI over 29 games and has recently taken over as the Tigers' leadoff hitter.
