Vargas went 5-for-6 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 18-2 victory over the Giants.

Vargas homered to deep left center off Drew Pomeranz in the first inning for his second long ball of the season. Overall, the Diamondbacks scored 18 runs to set a new record at Oracle Park. The 27-year-old played a big part in Arizona's success and has been a solid addition after getting recalled from Triple-A Reno to fill in for Wilmer Flores while he recovers from a foot contusion. In 28 games with Arizona, Vargas is batting .246/.246/.385 with 10 runs scored, six RBI, and a stolen base.

Arenado went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Friday's 8-6 win over the Orioles.

Arenado opened the scoring in the first inning, and then provided the tying run in the seventh inning with his second blast. The third baseman has 13 homers, 37 RBI and 37 runs scored in 49 games, while the three-hit night raised his average to .325 for the year.

Suarez went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a 6-5 victory against the Cubs on Friday.

Trailing by a run in the ninth inning, Joey Votto led off with a walk, and then Suarez went deep to give the Reds their first lead of the game. This was his eighth multi-hit game and seventh homer of the month, but he also broke a 1-for-14 skid Friday. Suarez is hitting .258 with 14 home runs, 33 RBI, 28 runs and one steal in 182 at-bats this season.

Devers will sit Friday against the Astros.

Devers sits for the first time in over a month and just the third time all season. He's certainly earned that everyday role, as he's hit .317/.384/.481 through 50 games. Eduardo Nunez starts in his place at third base.

Riley went 3-for-6 with a home run and three RBI in an extra-innings win against the Giants on Thursday.

Riley smoked a two-run shot to center field off reliever Tony Watson in the eighth inning to tie the game at 4-4. Five innings later, he drove home the winning run with an RBI single. The talented freshman has gotten off to a blazing hot start in the majors, setting a Braves rookie record by hitting his fifth home run in only his ninth game. He also boasts an incredible .389/.421/.833 slash line with 12 runs batted in.

Moncada went 1-for-5 with an RBI double and run scored in Thursday's win over the Astros.

Moncada drove in an RBI double and scored another run to help lift the White Sox to a 4-0 victory. Despite slowing down a bit as of late, the 23-year-old continues to deliver when it counts. His line improves to .279/.337/.500 with 11 doubles, 31 RBI and nine home runs.

Devers finished 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored during Thursday's 8-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Devers got a sixth-inning rally started with an RBI double and later drove in another run with an infield single. He has been red-hot since arriving in Toronto, going 8-for-19 with three home runs, seven RBI and six runs scored over the four-game set. Devers now owns an OPS of .865 and will look to keep it up as the road trip shifts to Houston.

Segura went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and two runs to help the Phillies to a 9-7 victory over the Cubs on Thursday.

The 29-year-old checked in with his fifth long ball of the season with a fourth-inning two-run blast off Jon Lester. He's taken nicely to his new surroundings in his first year with the Phillies, as Segura is now sporting a healthy .325/.371/.512 slash line through 166 at-bats.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's win over the Tigers.

He's now gone yard in back-to-back games in Detroit, doubling his homer total on the year to a modest four. Anderson's .234/.311/.351 slash line through 45 contests isn't any better, but the 26-year-old's recent form offers some hope that he's headed into a hot streak.

Riley finished 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Wednesday's 9-2 victory over the Giants.

Riley smacked a two-out, three-run shot off reliever Derek Holland in the seventh inning to boost the Braves' lead to 9-2. It was Riley's fourth long ball in eight games since getting called up last week. The 22-year-old has spent time both at third base and in the outfield while slashing at a ridiculous .367/.406/.800. With his hot bat and versatile glove, the Braves should continue to find him a spot in the lineup.
